This place lied about having A/C. The refrigerator turns on, but doesn’t make anything cold. If you look at the screen door it falls out of its tracks. Only half of the outlets in the unit work. Staying here is basically camping with running water. Nice furniture though

A+++ place to visit and stay. Great place all around.

It is close to the slopes, clean, and most things work as expected.

Cozy place with good beds and good bathrooms.

I guess you get what you pay for. I was looking for somewhere cheap to spend the night and that’s exactly what I got. This place is old and rundown and has lots of damage broken mirrors, scratched walls, rusty pipes, and broken toilet fixtures.

The condo was clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice little deck off the back.

If you are looking for fancy and spacious this is not the place. However, if you are looking for a cozy place that is very conveniently located with an amazing location then this is your place. It could use a little updating but we enjoyed our time tremendously at Bee Branch 04.

The location is truly amazing. True ski-in/ski-out. Cozy and convenient place to maximize your ski vacation! I will definitely be back next season for another great ski vacation!

Condo was clean, but AC was turned way up and we had no way to turn it down. The electronic lock didn't work and it took forever to get access to the home. Deck was under construction and we were not able to use it. Very disappointed we weren't notified about that before the rental.

When we arrived only one bed had sheets on it. We called and let them know that we did not have enough sheets. They said they would take care of it. We finally had to borrow sheets from the friends we were visiting. Still waiting on sheets!

Great Time at a Great Location
The apartment is very "Home-y" in a good way. We arrived during a snow storm so the steps were a bit dangerous (you will be doing a lot of climbing with suitcases, etc., as it's on the bottom floor.) The location next to the slopes is fantastic. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves at this apartment.
The Pros: The Fireplace was PERFECT. Gas logs that are easy to turn on and off, kept the room warm and cozy and made the atmosphere very rustic and home-y.
The Location was great and convenient. Fun watching people go down the slopes and up the lifts.
The Cons: The floors are a bit cold as it's tiled (bedrooms are carpet). Wear socks or you'll be chilly. The furniture was a little worn out. The kitchen was dark and very small. It served it's purpose though. There was a giant crack on the mirror (closet) in the kids room. Might want to have that fixed before a child gets cut on it. BRING YOUR OWN TRASH BAGS. Important. Glad we brought our own because the ones provided at the apartment are worthless. They are cheap, too small, and easily rip apart.
All in all the apartment was nice to stay but a little pricey.

AWESOME LOCATION
We had a wonderful time at Bee Branch 4. The location was perfect for our family. The easy access to the slopes made it easy to take breaks and maximize our time on the slopes!!!!

Nice ski-in / ski-out condo!
Perfect location for our family ski trip. We loved to watch the skiers from our window and the night skiing was amazing.
Gas fire place was always cozy to come and warm after a day of skiing. It was clean with basic toiletries provided ( soap, shampoo, conditioner..)
We would definitely stay again!

Good and Bad
Cute place and good location.
Overall a cute place but it really needed some TLC. Problems we ran into. 1) Gas logs wouldn’t work. 2) Master Bedroom sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed. After turning back the covers , found multiple hairs in the bed and sheets were very wrinkled where someone else had slept. Management office was closed and After hours chat said that they would put a ticket in for the problem but suggested that we wash the sheets. Had to go to the store and by detergent and wash the sheets. Not acceptable! 3) Railing on back deck was very shaky and needed repair. Wouldn’t stay here again and feel that we deserve a partial refund for the inconvenience for our one night stay of $277!

Unit was much smaller, darker and dated than we thought from the pictures, and we were unable to use the fireplace. We did like level parking access and creek area behind the unit.

October visit
Great access to Sugar Mtn Resort for Octoberfest and close to Grandfather Mtn. Unit is lacking some basic supplies/ammenities such as bath mats, soap, kitchen mits, etc so be sure to bring EVERYTHING (other than bed sheets) you may need for your visit. Entrance is very dark and hazardous at night. The unit is a typical ski condo showing wear and tear. We enjoyed our visit and would consider staying again.

Enjoyed it overall
Good place to stay but a little hard to find the door. Kitchen was a little tight but thats normal for the area. Clean place to stay a bit on the older side

This was a great Condo. It had everything we needed and really made our visit enjoyable. It is decorated with fun furniture that made you feel that you were in a cabin setting. The balcony has a view of the chairlift and slopes where we were able to watch the mountain bike riders as they came down the slopes.

pictures a bit misleading
This unit was adequate, nothing more. I would not rent it again. Bedrooms were o.k. Kitchen very small but adequate. For us, there were too many stairs getting to the unit, next time we rent it will be level with the parking area. Wi-fi reception was good. The unit in the pictures appears larger than it is. 2nd bathroom was very small, the shower door did not close completely, Someone forgot to leave enough toilet paper and no extra anywhere in the unit. We never could get a working e-lock code and instead of waiting around for maintenance, we opted to live with it(for 3 nights), as the back sliding glass door could not be locked and if need be we could access the unit by that(by sliding down a rocky hill and walking up the stairs to the unit). The unit appeared to be in a very safe area so we felt comfortable with that decision. Lots of small inconveniences. If it were not for the Vacasa staff who answered my calls quickly, I would give it a 2 star rating.

Money better spent elsewhere
Good location and the porch balcony was nice; however, the condition of the condo is not great. There were dead and live bugs in the cabinets and plates in the cabinets still had crumbs on them. One of the shower doors is broken and cannot close so it is unusable.

Snowboarding on sugar
For families looking to ski & snowboard on sugar mtn, this is a good spot! A short walk down the hill & across the bridge to the slopes. Once we arrived we no longer needed our vehicle to get to & from the slopes. It made lunchtime & nightskiing easy! It is close to the top of the mountain. The unit does need cutlery, cups & cabinetry space for food! We loved the swing on the porch!!

Ok Unit
The location of this unit is nice being slope side. There are several sets of stairs to get down to enter the unit and then another large set and walk to be able to access the path to get to the slopes. The unit though needs better cleaning as we still had to clean upon arrival (sticky floors, bathrooms, etc). While the unit location was good and we made the best of our stay, it needs some overall maintence to make it feel a little cleaner and comfortable.

Perfect Place
We come to sugar a few times a year and this was by far my family’s favorite place! Convenient slope side access. Housed us four perfect! We can’t wait to book again!

Location!
Location is key for this condo. Walk to the slopes and watch the skiers from your window. The condo was stocked. The condo was not clean at check in at 4:00pm. At 4:30, housekeeping arrived with a vacuum and said, "will be back in 20 minutes to finish." At 6:00, he came back with sheets. I sent my husband to the store for cleaning supplies, as we did not feel comfortable since the pandemic. I spent 2 hours cleaning. Bathrooms were moldy and both shower doors are broken. Also, I asked for a 12:00 check out instead of 10:00 and was denied.

Small Kitchen, Great Location to Slopes
The unit was nice, but the kitchen was smaller than expected from the online photos. Mattresses were just okay and could be better. Steps were snow covered when we arrived on Tuesday and made unloading challenging going up and down, but they were eventually shoveled on Thursday when we left a day early in advance of snow storm moving in overnight. Overall, worth what we paid and the convenience to the slopes was a big draw.

The Good and the Bad
To start off with the positive aspects of this condo, it is in a convenient location to Banner Elk, Linville Falls, Grandfather Mtn, and skiing. The furniture is cute and suited for the mountains. The not so nice aspects are the condition of the condo. Many repairs are needed such as the guest bathroom shower door and loose toilet seat. In master bathroom missing TP holder & towel racks, plus mold around the tub. Not to mention the closets that don't open wide enough to hang clothes. The slider is broken. There are no drinking glasses other than wine. Lastly, the mouse poohs under the kitchen sink & chewed paper towels from the mice. Some TLC is needed...

Weekend getaway!!!!
The apartment was very roomy. We absolutely loved the furniture (the kitchen table was awesome). The view was nice and we met really nice neighbours that told about good places to eat. Very cozy. The beds were comfortable as well. Would highly recommend.

Okay
Guest shower door mildew, master shower door dirty, called about guest shower door not closing all the way and no one ever came after they said they woulda. Porch is great but could use more seating than just the swing.

Great location - things need fixing
The master shower doesn’t drain and the guest shower door doesn’t close leaving it unusable. Also, the sliding glass door to the exterior porch (with public stair access) doesn’t lock because the deadbolt broke off. These things need fixing.
8.0
Great location a value
The location is easy to get to the green slopes and ski school. Walk right down to the slopeside and ski back in. The two negatives- the master shower / tub was totally backed up and the fireplace doesn't heat the room at all. But...we would still rent it again- the beds are comfortable and the unit is clean.
10.0
Cozy Condo
The location of this condo to the slopes is fantastic and we loved the coziness and warmth of the decor...especially the easy gas fireplace.
