House, location, breakfast and support staff were excellent.

We met as family and friends from all over the country. The staff was accommodating and helpful. It is a beautiful property and we felt right at home.

CSI is a beautifully restored home in a well located safe neighborhood allowing easy access to most of NOLA by streetcar. The staff was warm and knowledgeable and eager to take care of all our needs. We are a family of 16 people ages 1-80. We celebrated grandpa’s 80th birthday with a fabulous New Orleans dinner that the staff prepared …it was incredible! Even with the challenges of adhering to our food allergies everything was delicious and nicely presented. It was so much better than going to a restaurant! Each day there was a formal full course breakfast … again, with delicious and interesting regional foods always freshly prepared. Monica gave us invaluable advice on things to do and places to go while in NOLA. I highly recommend staying at the Canal Street Inn for a large family vacation.

We recently rented the entire inn for 3 days for ourselves and family attending a wedding in New Orleans. The inn exceeded our expectations. The first reactions as everyone arrived at the inn were "Wow, it's so beautiful". Each room was spacious and spotless and very comfortable to sleep in. The courtyard in the back was perfect for relaxing and gathering with friends/family in the evening.
Every morning we were served a delicious hot breakfast in the formal dining room (felt like royalty).
Monica and her staff were wonderful. Helping us with any questions or any special requests we had during our stay. The personal touch was much appreciated. Each morning greeting us at breakfast with a smile.
At the end of our stay, family members stated the inn made their visit to New Orleans even more memorable. It was an amazing experience.

We were a family of 17 - different age groups from 12-86. Plenty of space for all- 1st floor for the young, main floor for elders, 3rd floor for adult couples. Dining area accommodated all, gracious living room and each suite had more gathering space. It was perfect for our reunion. A few minor problems with heat and hot water that should be fixed. Management is very accommodating. They fix breakfast every day and we catered two meals that were perfect for our large group.

This was the most beautiful property I've ever stayed in. The attention to detail, the extravagant rooms, outdoor spaces and back room with hot tub made for an unforgettable trip.

We did a full house rental for a family reunion, and it met our needs perfectly. We appreciated the 11 rooms with ensuite bathrooms, and the gathering space both inside and out was fantastic and even larger than expected. The house itself was very charming but the wonderful treatment we received from Monica, Julia and the rest of the staff was the icing on the cake!

This house was huge and very spacious for the 22 of us. Each room had its own bathroom and the breakfast was really good each morning. Information in the description could have been more detailed so that we would know what to expect. We did not realize until about a week before arriving that the house would be run as a bed n breakfast so there were a few people(staff) in and around the house each day. Kitchen space also had to be shared with the cook. When traveling, we've been accustomed to having the rented homes completely to ourselves. Despite that, we really enjoyed our time here!

What can I say? The place was great!
My family rented the whole Inn for Christmas and my Mom's birthday (Christmas Day). Like I said, the place was great: clean, huge bedrooms with great beds; the common areas had plenty of room for the family to sit; the yard was well laid out for any type of entertaining you may want to do. But the best thing about Canal Street Inn was the people. From start to finish Monica was all over our needs. She was a wealth of knowledge about local restaurants, tours and other activities. She provided us with anything we needed. Pat, the chef, made incredible breakfasts. She tended to our every need when it came to the use of the kitchen. Jason handled the behind the scenes. He would sneak in and out to provide towels, bedding, and other essentials.
So the Inn was GREAT, but it was the people who really put the cherry on top.

This place is awesome. Our party of 19 was all very impressed with the house, rooms, and beds. But nothing could beat the food and snacks. We would stay extra days if we could, just for the food. We couldn’t be any happier with our decision to stay here . Last but not least was the personal service from Monica and Rosa. They made suggestions on where to go and had the answer to any question. This place is worth the money!!!

First off, the place was beautiful. Absolutely spectacular. And it was HUGE! Granted, I’ve never experienced 11,000 square feet, but my goodness, we had about 14 people stay in the house and I could have probably went the entire week not seeing anyone it was that big.
There were 3 levels to the house (I didn’t even know about the third floor) I and my wife were on the main level in the master bedroom and my goodness! Mind. Blown. The room connected the a sitting area via hallway and was attached to a meditation/spa room! The bed was comfortable as what I assume a cloud would feel, and the ceiling fan in the room made me forget all about the Louisiana heat.
The dining area and sitting area/living room were amazing. And to top it off, there was a backyard sitting area and a screened in back porch used to unwind. I can speak for all when I say the property was absolutely amazing. But just as amazing, if not more, was the power house behind making our stay great. Monica, Michael and Rosa were like the Big 3. I’m talking they were like Jordan, Pippen and Rodman. The communication was on point and it was easy to get ahold of either one if we needed anything. There were things we needed that they provided and we didn’t even know they provided. We brought so much stuff because we didn’t know that everything would be available. They were on or nearby the property, but they were there to assist and with anything and everything and then they’d disappear so as “not to crowd us.” So to say we had the house to ourselves was an understatement, and a very good one.
And the breakfast!! Never have I ever had a 3-course breakfast, nor did I know that even existed. My goodness, the breakfast was fantastic and they were very accommodating for the catered meals my group had. Honestly, if I could rate higher than a 5, I would! Thank you all so much. Everyone really enjoyed themselves so much and appreciate the “Dream Team” and their hard work and effort.

Me and 14 of my closest girlfriends decided to celebrate my Bachelorette Weekend in New Orleans and we are so glad we did! Staying at the Canal Street Inn, far exceeded our expectations! To accommodate all 15 of us we rented the entire house which was more than enough space. There was 10 Bedrooms, that were all really spacious and clean. I loved how the first 2 floors were more historic and antique like and then the basement was lively and modern. It was the perfect mix for our crew. Because Canal Street Inn is an actual Bed and Breakfast, every morning we were able to set a time to be served breakfast (Included in the Rental Fee..Yay) and all sit-down and eat together as a group. Michael and Rosa were our Inn-Keepers for the weekend and they were FANTASTIC and very attentive. This house and service really made our trip Special! Will definitely be booking here my next trip to New Orleans!

We rented the entire place and could not have been more pleased with our experience. The location was very convenient to many sites and only minutes from downtown. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs.
