I was greeted with a wonderful friendly host who took all my bags up to my room and showed me where all the facilities were. He also got me a drink and was very kind. The room was small but comfortable. I struggled with the shower but I am a bigger lady however everywhere was very clean. The public shared toilet facilities were clean and spacious. And the hotel itself was quiet. I did not stay for breakfast however it smelt lovely. I would definitely stay here again.
Just not being able to comfortably shower, but again thats my personal issue due to size so I cannot fault the hotel for that.

Fantastic location. Just a few minutes walk to the pier. I received a lovely greeting when I arrived and the lady walked me up to my room which was a lovely touch. The room was a good size and very clean. The bed was very comfortable.
Nothing.

Ideal location and staff were brilliant. Really helpful staff and beds were comfortable
Needs some repair work in our room and problem with ants but this was dealt with very quickly by the staff on hand

I liked that staff were attentive. I liked the big bathroom and that we had a patio outside our room.
It would have been nice to have a better vegetarian option for breakfast, maybe some veggie sausages or fake bacon. I did ask if I could take my breakfast to my room, which the lady serving me said would be fine. Then a gentleman came out from the back and told me I couldn’t do that. I suffer with anxiety quite bad and would have liked to be able to take it to my room.

Easy walking distance to everything in Brighton. Room faced a quiet square & could see the sea from part of a window.
Paid £8 to get a day's on street parking voucher & no parking . Spent 30 mins driving around. Busy May Saturday & Brighton full. Parked at the NCP & paid £32 per day extra.

Location excellent, clean and friendly
The en suite was very small and cramped. Needed a facelift.

The manager & staff were lovely & very helpful especially helping us with finding somewhere to park.. i paid £8 for a C zone 24h parking permit.. we had a lovely sized room, bed was very comfortable and had WiFi usage..
Parking was difficult but that's how it is in Brighton, there is parking outside the hotel, on the side of the road with a pay by phone parking meter but space is limited so we parked up the street in a C zone and got a permit from the hotel nanager

The hotel has a nice cosy feel to it; it felt like a family run hotel, though I don't know if it is. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast and breakfast service were good; I was happy with my vegetarian choice.

Staff and management lovely - room neat and tidy and clean
Awful hard beds, sloping floor in room, area outside window awful, has not been tidied for years and looking straight into wall, complete lack of acceptable parking nearby - stayed in top floor, too much for Septarians like me.

Location, comfy bed, great breakfast, lovely staff.
The shower was a bit weak and difficult to adjust temperature.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located close to the beach, downtown and the sights. Also really close to public transit connections. The bistro and breakfast room were sweetly decorated.
My toilet was located on the floor below my room. The room wasn't big enough to have a chair so I had to sit on the bed all the time. It was a little awkward to work on my laptop with this set-up.

room cramped. tiny double bed. hole behind beside table exposing plaster. shower clogged up, wouldn’t drain. I removed plug - full of hair!! asked for them to clean out. no place laid out for breakfast this morning with manager asking what room we were in. there was on Sunday - felt awkward! not worth the money
as above

We did not end up staying as we were right next to a room where a dog barked for an hour. The room was smelly and not very clean. We ended up leaving.

the bed was a bit small, would have preferred a king size

They offered to spend the night in the bigger room with a double bed, instead of the small one I booked. And I still received free breakfast, everything was perfect

Everything about this place was lovely. Big room, clean and tidy, friendly staff (except one!) and excellent location.
The only let down was the night staff (one elderly man). Very miserable, no smile, no greeting, no friendliness or warmth and appeared to be pretty put out by myself and friend ordering a drink! Dumped the drink on the table and asked us to take it away from the bar. Such a shame as this man let the hotel down as everything and everyone else was fab.
