Staff were lovely. Very friendly and helpful

The room was clean and spacious with a great size bed. The staff was lovely and the room was ready before the set checking in time which was handy as I arrived earlier. Breakfast the following day was prompt and delicious.
Unfortunately, my room was facing the main road and I have issues sleeping so, even with the ear plugs I could hear the occasional cars passing through. Otherwise, the bed was really comfortable and clean.

Breakfast and the bar and garden were very good. We had dinner over the road at the Bear which was excellent. Its was in a great location with at least three dining choices which were all good.
The twin bedded rooms which were promised were only applied to my room the other two rooms for my four other friends were made up as doubles which was embarrassing as I had specifically booked twin rooms and double checked that was the case by calling the hotel in advance. We are 6 heterosexual males biking for charity from Tower bridge to Amsterdam.

The hotel was beautifully clean and the breakfast was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially those helping at breakfast. It’s a very nice hotel.
The room was extremely hot, but apparently there was a control on the wall, which we did not see 🙄. The bed was 2 singles pushed together, which was a bit uncomfortable at times. I was expecting it to be a double, so I was a little disappointed. The single beds were comfortable, falling down the gap, not so comfortable.

From start to end excellent
Nothing

The room was amazing and clean

Room 2 - no plug by mirror to blow dry hair or straighten hair - plug over by kettle which is daft!
Noisy door below from reception area this causing banging noises on & off until late and again in the morning. Mentioned at check out.

Friendly Staff. Lovely room and excellent breakfast.
Nothing.

The staff were attentive and there was good service throughout

Location was perfect and room was pleasant.
The room did not appear freshly cleaned. Very noticeable large spider webs on walls in room and bathroom.
Parking was difficult upon arrival.

Dinner
The room was extremely noisy as right on a road junction but the hotel was full so there was no alternative. I was also told not to worry, that the road was a very quiet one, which unfortunately was not the case.

Eggs Benedict was superb and the waitress was kind and helpful although she was dressed as though she was going to a cocktail party. Nevertheless, the whole experience of our stay was very pleasant indeed.
Not much. My only suggestion was that the shower tray was very slippery and a may would have helped.

Everything was perfect! Friendly, welcoming staff, good choice of real ales and delicious food.
I would gladly stay here again.
Thank you everyone Team Harvard Inn!
There was nothing not to enjoy

All rooms are slightly different and really well presented. Clean with good facilities. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable.
There was nothing to dislike.

Staff were nice. Room was very clean.
Room 16 had upstairs and downstairs. The bedroom and bathroom upstairs have strange ceilings that are angled and low. It was not pleasant. I would have preferred to stay in a standard room with full ceiling height. My elderly Mom was staying with me and bumped her head in the hallway a couple of times as did I. This room is sold as superior but to me is inferior to a standard room.
The continental breakfast could have more variety for those who don't want a cooked breakfast.

great rooms, very clean with quality fittings
great location for our work, great food and fantastic staff

Staff were friendly. The downstairs of our room was spacious and breezy (TV could have been bigger).
The hotel bar and restaurant area were cosy and vintage-looking.
The hotel was conveniently located for our purposes. Check in and check out was quick and simple.
WiFi worked well.
We barely slept due to the bedroom being so hot. Our room was a twin studio, so the beds and bathroom were upstairs. Downstairs was spaciois and a pleasant temperature, but upstairs in the eaves was stifling, despite us taking the oscillating fan up and leaving tje window wide open all night. The weather was only 20 degrees during the day, so we dread to think what it would be like in 25+ degrees!
Beds were twin cabin beds, but the mattresses were too soft and saggy - I felt like I was in a hammock as mine sagged so much in the middle.
I also kept banging my head on the ceiling upstairs, as it sloped down on both sides like in an attic room (I'm partially sighted), and I'm only 5'10".
Access to the room was outside the main hotel (typically it was raining). So we had to cross a small gravelled courtyard to access the restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
The food was great (loved the cheesecake), and portion sizes were good, but it was expensive. The lamb shank came with only mash and broccoli. My wife's steak pie came with a variety of veg, which was great - would have been great if the lamb shank did.
Breakfast had a good variety and the full English was generous, but my poached egg was missing on day 1, a d there were no croissants on the first day either (my wife likes a croissant for breakfast and so was disappointed).

Location, style and accessibility.
Very warm rooms and bedding. Poor sleep. Dirty teacups & tea pots. Handling of a complaint regarding food issue.

Lovely pub and had a nice meal there
Some rooms were close to a very busy road, which meant there was noise from early morning

Lovely room in the main part of the building. We had lunch when we arrived and breakfast in the morning, on both occasions the food was excellent. Freshly cooked, piping hot and really tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.
