Nice short break in a beautiful area

Beautiful location. Nice clean accommodation. The duck pond area was a bonus

Pool unfortunately closed on the first day. Maybe some curtains in the bedrooms rather than blinds

Most beautiful place.

This is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed. Food was exceptional and staff friendly and helpful. The grounds are stunning and very clean. I also loved the bathroom touches.

Be nice to have a little jug of fresh milk for morning tea and coffee.

Such a wonderful time

The staff were so very helpful. I shipped some luggage out and they stored it for me for a few days till it could be picked up. The area is in a more rural area of Scotland but central to many of the areas we wanted to visit

We struggled to get our clothes dry. And I couldn't figure out how to work the stove top.

Mooie, rustige locatie

Mooie, rustige locatie. Ruim appartement. Verwarmd indoor zwembad met sauna. Heerlijke plek om na onze rondreis nog even te relaxen en voor de kinderen om te kunnen zwemmen en spelen.

Het continentale ontbijt buffet viel tegen. De pannenkoeken machine was een plus voor de kinderen, maar er was weinig keuze en bijna alles was op. Dit werd op verzoek wel aangevuld, maar we moesten overal zelf achteraan. De gewone yoghurt was helemaal op, er waren weinig opties voor een gezond ontbijt. Er was tegen meerprijs ook een optie om uit de keuken te bestellen, maar dit hebben wij niet gedaan, mede omdat we op tijd wilden vertrekken.

Bardzo bogate śniadanie (elementy szkockiego i kontynentalnego). Rozległy teren do spacerowania, dużo zieleni i kwiatów, cisza i spokój. Można podjechać pod sam domek autem. Basen, jacuzzi itp - OK - info od znajomych - ja nie byłem, pokój gier na duży plus. Wygodne łóżka (materac raczej z tych twardszych). Ciepło we wszystkich pomieszczeniach co było istotne przy typowo szkockiej pogodzie. Dobra lokalizacja do zwiedzania (blisko Callander, Stirling, Perth). Uwaga: mimo info w rezerwacji, że nie można zabrać psa, po wcześniejszym kontakcie i ustaleniu można wziąć - koszt około 25 funtów.

Great few days of relaxation in a beautiful environment

Been here a few times. Great place, beautiful location, lodges are comfy & have everything you need. Leisure centre is cute & we enjoyed spending a relaxing morning there. Restaurant food is good. For the area, the cost is decent value for money,

The little gym has a good selection of quality equipment but I do think it could do with a deep clean rather than a wipe down. The sofa bed in the lodge was adequate but not great for my middle aged back. All other beds were reported as comfortable!

Been many times and probably book yet again for family break. Enjoyable stay.

Friendly and accommodation appropriate for families.

👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 from us, thank you for having us.

Our visit was a 5* all the way. Everything was on point or beyond, right down to bedding, cutlery. Everyone including visitor were so friendly. We didn’t feel uncomfortable being from a very modest background even at the pool, steam and sauna we was made very welcome. Only niggle maybe was the food there wasn’t a lot of veg or hala option but we made a 8 min car journey which wasn’t an issue (have added a pic would anyone want to know, excellent food and it was halal). There was something to do for everyone, bouncy castle, walks of the grounds, swimming and a games room. so over all me and my family loved it and would most certainly make the 4hr car journey again.

Wasn’t enough veg/halal options on the menu but there was places/ take away not to far to go eat or bring back, so it wasn’t an issue for us.

Self catering lodges were great Pool and gym were great

No fresh towels during 3 night stay. Hotel contact me twice beforehand to offer/confirm stair gates but no stair gates in lodge when we arrived. Travel cot didn’t have a mattress Key card timed out before check out time which made for a very stressful 25 minutes while juggling three small children and running up and down to reception and trying to get the car packed up. Some basic provisions in lodge in our arrival which was nice but would’ve been nice to have some basic cleaning products (eg spray for cleaning table etc)

Nice place but the service lets it down. It is quite expensive and not value for money.

The Hotel is nice and the facilities are good.

The service is not great. Food was not cooked properly. They ran out of draught lager. My starter was not served when the other starters were served. For the Half Board option all the costs are not covered and you pay more than you think. Only £25 per pesron is covered - read the small print as there are hidden costs.

The estate is magical!

They lodges are beautiful! The staff are extremely helpful,polite and wonderful!

The breakfast was a bit monotonous and could do with some change. Also, a few more vegetarian options would be nice.

Relaxing stay in a lovely location

We were self catering in a lodge so on this occasion we didn't use the hotel. We have stayed there many times with family and friends and never been disappointed

Nice Room, Check Your Bill!

The room was nice, good size and quiet despite being above the bar. With one notable exception, the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, and everything felt new, clean and well maintained. It was quiet when we were there (before the school holidays).

Our bill was wrong when we checked out, we were charged the full amount for dinner when we had a dinner bed and breakfast deal. We questioned it, the receptionist tried to fix it and brought someone, possibly a supervisor, through from a side office. This second person didn't acknowledge us and ignored us when we spoke to him, continuing to ignore us once he had corrected the bill (with exactly the mistake we had described). To be clear, the hotel had made a mistake by overcharging us, we expected an apology, but we were completely ignored by this second staff member. I felt sorry for the receptionist, she looked embarrassed and was clearly doing her best. The food was pub-chain standard. Fine, but nothing to get excited about. Probably a failing on our part, we thought we were staying in a hotel with grounds. It's a hotel surrounded by fairly new build “lodges”, more like Center Parcs than we expected.

Big rooms, clean, great food, Brenda the massage lady is great, pool is poor, steam room etc good. Great grounds for walking and family's with young kids have games room and outdoor area next to beer garden.

Price of drinks is outrageous. Also watch if you're staying half board the dinner is only to the value of £25pp and most main courses are ib the £16 to £30pp so you'll end up with further charges.

Wyndham Duchally Estate is a lovely hotel providing a comfortable grandiose experience.

the large size room. the feel of it being a grand country estate. the surrounding grounds are lovely.

our room wasn’t properly prepared. a double bed was provided instead of two singles. (quickly remedied). the bar man was quite surly as though it was too much effort to provide my drink. a nauseating fuel smell permeated the dining room in the morning making it very unpleasant to be in that space and enjoy the very nice breakfast.
