Bellissimo il giardino.
Camera pulita
Rapporto prezzo qualità non adeguato
Camere spoglie (mancano prese, frigobar, amenities)
Accoglienza e servizi non certo da quattro stelle.
Peccato perché la struttura avrebbe tanto potenziale.

Room was on the whole comfortable and we had a reasonable view of the lovely garden. Breakfast was good and presented very nicely.
As always, the bathroom always lets hotels down. No extraction, a tiny sink which you could barely wash your hands in, and it was very low. Couldnt even fill up the kettle in the sink.

We loved our stay!! The hotel was fantastic and the food in the restaurant was terrific. We especially loved chatting with the staff as well as your new manager, Giuseppe. He was so friendly, helpful, and so eager to assist. He’s a gem, and I’m certain he will make such an impact on your business.

the breakfast was great and the staff was really friendly. the shower was also very nice.
our room was very small and not worth the price for what it was. the drinks were also very pricey.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Grounds were amazing. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a little small.
Menu was limited but enjoyed the steak and fish

Rooms were very nice. Bar was very good. Very nice gardens. Most of the staff were exceptional. The morning manager with the glasses and dark hair was a lovely friendly person who looked after you and made time to speak to you and very good to staff.
Evening manager didn't come across a friendly person. This person was miserable and didn't really speak to staff well.
I personally think he's in the wrong job. He made you feel uncomfortable, and for that, I wouldn't like to book an evening meal while he's on duty.

Beautiful grounds, easy 5-10 minute drive into town. When we arrived we found out that they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a king room; this was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was delicious and they offered several cooked to order choices.

Room was nice and clean. Spacious room but not the best view. Beautiful garden. Ample parking space. Lovely breakfast with lots of options.
Room felt a little dated but I guess it works with the ambiance of the hotel. Atmosphere could be a little more relaxed - that may encourage guests to stay there for dinner.
I was under the impression that it was walkable distance to town but you have to drive. ( no side walk )

Comfy bed and lovely breakfast.

grounds and main hotel building beautiful as are lounge and dining areas.
Excellent food and service
The room was not the standard expected. We did have our dog but still felt the room should have been more pleasantly situated for the price we paid and larger. We also got mixed messages regarding where we could go with a dog in the hotel .
However we did enjoy our stay very much and understand it’s a tricky decision to make allowing dogs .

lovely property, staff and food was amazing
room was too hot, even with the window open as wide as it would let us

Location and ease to travel to St Andrews. Beautiful hotel and surroundings. The ladies that served us dinner and breakfast were professional and very friendly.
Was given a different menu than advertised with less choice and double the price. Not that we couldn't afford it but felt it was misleading.

Food had reached new heights

location and ambience welcoming and relaxing and room comfortable and adequate
as our stay was to celebrate our silver wedding we were expecting something a little bit more special than we actually experienced (eg a bottle of champagne was provided by our children but received nothing from the hotel to mark the occasion)
Felt there could have been more choice in the dinner menu and felt that self service at breakfast could have been extended to the cooked breakfast as the "amount of food in the prepared full english breakfast appeared to be the minimum the hotel could deem to be acceptable.

We had a family suite in the cottage outside so more space than I would usually get for us (myself and my two daughters) as I booked it quite last minute and a three persons room was sold out. The suite felt a bit outdated but had everything in it that we needed so didn't bother us. Everything was clean and comfortable
I LOVED the garden and had the most peaceful moment after breakfast with a book on a bench.
The chickens fun for children to see and I love the commitment of the hotel to good soil, organic produce and sustainability.
Nothing really although the suit did feel a bit outdated. Maybe all the rooms in the hotel are the same and is it part of the charm.

Great location, literally a 5
minute drive into town.
Staff were super friendly and welcoming to our dog, bowl of water set out at meal
times without asking for one and all the staff knew her name. Really dog friendly approach.
you can eat and drink with your pet in the bar area but not the restaurant which isn’t an issue as the bar area is very cosy with a fireplace, nice area to relax for food or a drink from the bar.
We stayed in room 1 (the lodge) which is perfect for a couple or family with a dog. loads of room
and having a living area was perfect to relax after long walks on the beach.
We will definitely book Rufflets again for our next stay in St Andrews.
