It’s location the breakfast
The property felt musty when we went in the furniture in the lounge looked grubby and not clean

Peace and quiet, beautiful trees full cottage facilities, super nice owners

lovely quiet location, well appointed bungalow
we booked this within 4 hours of arrival so perhaps that is why there was only a loaf of bread, butter, yogurt and orange juice, which we had to use for breakfast. No cooked breakfast.

nothing to dislike

Loved the location, fire place, shower and outside areas
Locked rooms within the cottage and a lot of what seemed like personal items. Fully expected to be surprised by the home owners walking in 😂

Absolutely beautiful little cottage in the nicest of locations with literally everything you can think of for your comfort. We absolutely loved it and would stay again. Very kind and helpful owner too. Would have gotten 10 out of 10 if we hadn't been woken up at 7.30 by the blockhead gardener throwing logs into a tin wheelbarrow 20ft from our bedroom window.
The gardener brandishing his chainsaw early doors!

This lovely bungalow is situated in beautiful grounds of the Manor House. Quite location perfect for rest and relaxation. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The host came to meet us on arrival and show us around. Lovely comfy bed and my favourite was the real fire place!!

So well-equipped it was like staying at a friend's house. Would have loved to have stayed longer and made better use of it!

Hosts were on site upon arrival and very helpful with check-in and showing facilities at the property. Continental breakfast options available, with tea/coffee/milk and juices available. Issue with TV was resolved immediately and without fuss.
Issue with leaking radiator in main bedroom, however Sarah and her son arrived as soon as we rang to inform, and although unable to fix at the time, did position a 'quick fix' solution which really did not impact our good nights sleep.

The breakfast was provided within the property. The hosts were very good and exceptional. They always see to it all I needed had been addressed to even during evenings they go out of their way to help. The place is tidy and I felt at home right away. Quiet and very comfortable. They deserve more than 5 stars. I would love to stay there again.

Myself, my partner and our 8 year old daughter stayed the night here. Due to covid reasons it was self check in and check out, so we didn't actually meet any hosts. But we were contacted with instructions on how to access the bungalow and there was a contact number left for any issues. Kitchen fully equipped, bungalow was very clean and tidy, there were cleaning products left under the sink, logs waiting by the fire to use, hairdryer in the bedroom, full access to WiFi and sky TV. Beds had heated blankets if required to use. Only 15 minute drive to Silverstone (which was the purpose of our stay). Very quiet and peaceful location. We didn't sit outside due to weather, but there was seating area by the patio for sunnier days. The views are beautiful.
This is not a negative point, just the impression we got on first arrival, but it did feel a little like we had walked into someone's home who had just 'popped out'. For example someone else's clothes were hanging in the wardrobe, family photographs around, there were books and someone's reading glasses in the dining room, tools left on the kitchen side. My daughter walked into an office thinking it was another bedroom, and it was full of paperwork, files etc. I quickly shut the door and made sure we didn't enter that room again during our stay. With all personal items around it gave off a feeling that we were intruding on someone's home rather than staying in an empty rental property for the night.

All the above. Owner came to meet us to help show us around. Very warm, cosy, comfortable.
