Beautiful setting in the heart of Oxford. Delicious breakfast. Great value for money.
Would have been nice to have access to a kettle to make a hot drink.

The central location is perfect for visiting Oxford. It is a great and friendly space for students or research visits. The building is historical.
The room was a bit cold and it was difficult to change the temperature.

The location is very convenient to dining and shopping and museums. The breakfast was excellent. I had vegan sausages and beans with roasted tomatoes, potato pattie’s and toast.
There was no heat available after 10:30pm until 5 or 6am. Early December was a bit cold.

A wonderful experience in a 400 year-old historic building made with modern comforts
The door to the room did not lock from the inside and then bathroom shared on another flloor but there was a sink in a cupboard!

Breakfast was all lovely apart from weak coffee.
Strong coffee!!

Fantastic location in central Oxford with easy walking to the coach station. Loved that I had a small fridge in the room. Breakfast in the great hall was a real experience and the food choices and quality were exceptional.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean, with a large desk and chair, wardrobe and a comfy armchair. Given the shared bathroom facilities I was happily surprised to have a sink in a cupboard in the room.
I was aware on booking this was basic student accommodation with shared bathroom and toilet facilities with the other room on the landing. However, the shower was disappointing and small and definitely needing an upgrade.
I missed not having a kettle in the room for my morning and evening cup of tea and would have liked to have known beforehand that there wasn't one in the room.
I was also up 3 flights of winding stairs and struggled to get my suitcase up there. Given my age I should have asked for a ground floor room.

Cozy an nice place to stay in Oxford and the staff is very helpfull with information.
No private bathroom

It was a great location and people were very helpful. The room was clean and impressive to eat breakfast in the hall.
The narrow bed was lumpy and not very comfortable. I'm in my mid-50s and I need a better bed than that these days, or else I wake with a bad back. Basically a room for somebody with an unproblematic back!
Breakfast mass-produced and help yourself from heated plates - so fine, rather than really good.

it’s location, people in the reception so helpful and the breakfast was excellent
no signpost for the hotel the door is closed I hardly found it at 10 pm

Internet was not working and staff was not helpful. It was also very noisy and a lot of the breakfast ran out when we got there

Fantastic location within an historic Oxford College. Beautiful buildings and gardens and right in the heart of historic Oxford. Rooms in newer student accommodation block, so fairly basic with only a sink in the room and toilet/shower shared with others. Bed comfy and spacious room though, if decor a little tired. Breakfast is in the historic main hall of the college, so amazing place to eat! I had a fabulous stay and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Breakfast was great,
The staff at the lodge could have walked us to the room, which was quite hard to find in the dark. The toilet book and was not mended so we had to use the facilities on a different floor

Location excellent. Breakfast and being in Hall got also excellent
Room faded. Door knobs very difficult. Shower incomprehensible.

Location is perfect. Centre of Oxford , literally minutes from Sheldonian and Ashmolean etc.
If you like history and architecture or a fan of Morse - it's fantastic.
Breakfast in the dining hall was a great experience and excellent food- lots of choices.
Rooms are student halls not luxury hotel rooms but clean and comfortable.
Excellent value for money.
I did need the map of the college to find my - but this added to the novelty of being in the college.
Shared bathroom/stairs not a problem for me.
