The apartment was spotlessly clean. Lovely welcome pack which was great! Would definitely book again

Incredibly well equipped apartment. Absolutely nothing overlooked and a perfect selection of welcome items, meaning no immediate supermarket trip needed.
Not the property exactly, but the current work within the building leave the outer public areas very unwelcoming. The lift was out, the floors were dirty, despite the floor protectors. The location of the bottle bank on the car park directly below maybe a consideration for late sleepers.

Everything about it was fabulous. All the extras provided were amazing, including well stocked cupboards. Parking was next door in a safe car park and it was reasonably priced. The Grosvenor is situated in the Main Street close to restaurants, shops and public transport. The enclosed balcony was lovely for a meal or drink. We would highly recommend “ The Grosvenor” at Newmarket.
Everything was perfect.

Fantastic location. Short walk to shops, pubs etc. Free parking on site between 6pm - 8am with cheap rates during other hours.
Apartment was spotless and fully equipped, kitchen utensils, white goods, iron with board, towels, tv, wifi and a covered outdoor seating area.
Clear instructions given by the owners throughout the booking process via booking.com and before arrival regarding codes and keycard.
A loaf of bread and milk left by the owners along with tea, coffee and some biscuits, very much appreciated.
Nothing to dislike about the property.

I like but dust must be minimize wifi should in condition.

The flat was exceptionally clean and tidy, and well prepared for my arrival, the fizzy drinks and fresh milk in the fridge were a very nice touch. Good quality and variety of consumables in the bathroom and the shower was great. The standing fan was also very useful.

This was our second stay at this flat and it was great to return. On the run up to our trip our host Steve was excellent with communication. We arrived late on Easter Sunday and being a public holiday too we were thankful for some treats left for us, including bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee etc. The flat comes with all you need for a self sufficient stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our return visit. Wifi was included and all rooms are of a great size. Perfect for a travelling couple.
There is building work going on in the communal areas. This, I understand, is to bring the building up to meet current fire regulations, which was a bit concerning when I found out. Expect drilling, sanding and hammering starting from 8am and lots of dust. Considering the issues with meeting fire regulations it was unnerving to see fire doors propped open and door self closures taken off. Plus the lift was out of action for some reason, meaning I couldn’t bring my elderly parents over for dinner 🙁
The oven needs a clean and the toaster wasn’t working properly.
The balcony was covered in pigeon poo and there was even one nesting in the corner. Had it been warmer we would’ve been put off using it.

clean nicely presented
boiler fault not dealt with, lift not working, communal areas dirty. permeating smell of drains throughout the main building
4.7
location was exactly what I was looking for, right in the heart of Newmarket. The apartment itself felt like a step up from typical small apartments. couch was very comfortable

spacious, warm and clean great location, nice balcony, well equipped with loads of condiments that you forget to take for a quick get away ..milk, biscuits tea, coffee for you to use plus they even had shampoo and shower wash ..(we didn’t use but it was extra nice ) these extras are a lovely touch .. I stayed somewhere recently and they didn’t even have salt and pepper ..!
bed was comfy , shower was hot ..can’t fault it tbh ..definitely recommend..
✅
Theres so much to like. hard to find fault ..
bigger frying pan please 😉
also remember to put the extractor hood on when frying bacon because the smoke alarm which is incidentally positioned above the hob 🙄 is VERY loud 😫😫😫
once the building work is completed it will be even be better but it wasn’t a problem for us and I think this reflected in the price as it was definitely worth the money 😌
parking was £3.00 a day .

We loved the flat it was excellent. The location was great!! We would definitely recommend!! The hosts left some lovely touches!! A+++++++++++++++
The only thing we didnt like was that the hallway and the stairs were messy as the builders were still in.
4.7
great space, comfortable bed, especially liked the provision of breakfast materials
had to walk through living room to get to bathroom. broken lift.

The place was lovely and the owner was exact with explanations on where was the key and everything was really well explained.
The quality of the WIFI was not the best one but was always working.

The apartment was very well equipped and conveniently located with paid parking just outside. The extra touches from the host in the form of a welcome pack was much appreciated, as was the generous supply of toiletries and other items. Would recommend.
There is still building work at the apartments which detracted from the public areas

Excellent property, spotlessly clean, brilliant facilities. We really appreciated all the small touches on arrival, thank you.
There was nothing not to like about this property.

We stayed here for four nights whilst visiting my parents and family. I currently live in Australia. The apartment is big, well equipped, neat, clean and tidy. It is conveniently located near Newmarket high street and walking distance to shops, pubs, cafes etc. Communication with our hosts was excellent on the run up and throughout our stay. Would recommend.
All was excellent

great location, home from home and the little extra touches were really welcomed.

Comfortable bed and great shower with good linen and towels. Well equipped apartment. Spacious lounge and kitchen area.
The seat cushions on the sofa (converts to a bed, although we didn’t use) had a tendency to slip forwards but still remained comfortable.
4.7
Beautiful flat/apartment, spotless and extremely comfortable. The hosts are amazing. We can highly recommend this hidden gem, and will definitely be back. The attention to detail throughout is perfection.
There is a nothing negative to say. We were beyond happy with this gorgeous apartment.

Fantastic, comfortable apartment that was ideal for our 4 night stay. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise and the apartment even had a lovely Christmas tree - very homely! Great communication from the hosts, Angela and Steve, who were very accommodating and gave us all the information we needed to access the flat (contactless) and made our trip so easy. Thank you!
The only suggestion I would make would be to make the swap to 'eco-friendly' cleaning products but this is just personal preference as I found the hand soap and washing up liquid a little harsh on my skin :)
The TV was tricky to use at first but we soon got the hang of it thanks to the information folder which had everything we could need!
