The location was great but that's about all. We left a day early because we were so bothered by the low level of cleanliness. Prominent yellow stain on my bed pillow, leftover crusted food on the silverware, cobwebs in the cabinets where cooking supplies are stored, cobwebs in the shower, aunts EVERYWHERE. The aunts invaded the fridge and freezer space. That was my last straw it was so gross. I'm not normally the person to write reviews but I paid a fairly large amount for not even 48 hours and the conditions upon arrival for severely disappointing.

We were very satisfied with our time at this property! The location, neighborhood, and proximity to the beach were all amazing. We had a very comfortable stay and everything was satisfactory and as advertised. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach or sit out back and look out at the ocean with some shelter from the wind, views from the kitchen and dining area were very nice, and we were able to hear the waves crashing from our bedroom.

This is a lovely little cottage almost directly on the beach. The view from the kitchen table was my favorite, with second place being the view from the patio. The home is just right for a couple. The neighbor was lovely and we could walk to the local farmer's market. We will most definitely come back to stay again.

My sister and I enjoyed staying at the charming beach cottage. Amazing location, everything was right at our fingertips and our accommodations where as advertised. Brianna was very helpful

We fell in love with this charming home. It is small, but that is perfect for our small family. The deck overlooks the beach and we made a fire each night and enjoyed being in such a great location. The views from the kitchen table are amazing. The bed was comfortable (almost never is when traveling), so that was a perk. We walked to the Crows Nest for dinner and it was SO delicious. We plan to return! Love.. love..love!

Children and grandchildren rented larger home a few blocks away. This was a perfect place for grandma and granddad to get away from the crew, listen to to the waves and sleep soundly.
Great access to beach

The view is stunning. You can sit in the kitchen and watch the surf at Black's Point through the window. Can't miss a sunrise or sunset from this little cottage! The house has very nice wood
and artistic touches throughout! And you have your own private path to the beach! Highly recommend!

Great location but dirty
The location is 5+ stars as it is beachfront. Great neighborhood with easy access to the beach and great views from the house. That being said, this place needs a DEEP CLEAN. For the money paid I would hope the place would at least be clean. The kitchen was crawling with ants. We couldn’t leave ANYTHING on the counter for more than 30 seconds without tons of ants appearing and half of the food we stored in the open cabinets was ruined by ants which was a bummer. The bathroom also needs a deep clean as the shower was crawling with spiders. Not welcoming after a long day at the beach. There was also someone’s bathroom bag with supplies left in the bathroom when we arrived so that didn’t make us feel great about the degree of cleanliness. The worst part (and this is mother nature’s fault) is a skunk sprayed right outside the front door but because the house is not sealed properly, the entire house reeked with skunk smell on our last night. The front door is also very hard to open which is an accessibility issue.

Beach Shack
Sweet and cozy beach shack right on the sand. Corky and fun. Gorgeous views from kitchen table. Total diamond in the rough.

Great Location! Would stay again!
Did a family weekend getaway here for Spring Break with our 9yo and 6yo boys. They loved being able to easily go down to the beach, play in the sand, and we could still see them and enjoy the view from the dining table. 15 minute walk down the beach to dinner at El Palomar or The Crows Nest restaurants. Bonfires are allowed on this beach FYI. We brought our propane fire pit and enjoyed sunset on the beach. Note: from the view of the home/patio you won’t be able to see sunset without walking down and out to the beach, but 1-2 minutes walk down from the patio and you can see it. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Note: not a negative, but come prepared, not a huge selection of cooking supplies such as cooking oil, spices, etc. Had coffee each morning watching the waves crash onto the sand from the warm view from the dining room table. Plenty of sheets and towels and blankets. Entry is easy with electronic lock. Location is great, walkable to the harbor and two restaurants, beach is right off back patio, short drive to The Boardwalk. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return.

Location is amazing
This house is very cute and comfy for 2 people. Anymore than that would be difficult. The views are amazing. The sand is maybe 100 feet from the deck. The towels are ultra soft. Overall a definite place to return to.

Cosy Beach House
We enjoyed: Perfect Location, Walking distance to the ocean, Great Weather, Great accomodation for 1-2 people, Excellent Agency Service
We didn't enjoy: Backyard furniture wasn't clean, covered with dust; Toaster didn't switch off on "1", and burned bread; Bed frame was broken in the left upper corner, but mattress was holding OK (not sure for much longer); Couch in the living room was shaky when I was sitting on it (again not sure for how long).

Great location. Maybe better clarity re: some house details.
ex:
-parking at house not guaranteed. First come first served.
-front door supposedly should not be used because it’s “ antique”.
-shower is made for hobbits. (Verrrry low ceiling and spiders coming from wood work).
-fridge door opens backward. “Kitchen doors” impede fridge door opening. Super frustrating.
-broken furniture. Living room futon has broken legs and could fall any moment. Bed has broken bed frame at head left corner. Kind of rickety setup.
- approach from patio to beach could sure use cleanup/grooming.
- general decluttering of kitchen and dining areas. Less is more. Lots of strange items and too many of one thing. Ie coffee mugs. The 4 in the kitchen are great. All the many additional decorative ones seems cluttery. Same with plates etc. maybe more kitchen towels and useful items.
- these are simple observations for a place rented as a vacation property that we felt needed addressed.

Great access to the beach; perfect for a couple.
This is a small, rustic place, but the beach is so accessible and the views from the dining table were lovely. The back deck is convenient with a fire pit and hose to wash off sand before going inside. The front door lock was a bit tricky for us, so we ended up using the back door most of the time. We had three adults and one child and were comfortable. The living room futon might be too small for two adults; I slept there with my 10 year old niece and it was fine. There is no dishwasher and parking is only in front of the house (we fit two cars here). Communication with management was great - they texted during our stay and always responded quickly to my requests. Kitchen towels would have been nice (only paper towels) and more linens for the futon. I would stay again with a smaller group.

Beautiful and cozy
The property was very small but it had a great cabin feel with direct access to the beach. Great for 2 people, had coffee on the back patio overlooking the beach every day. Walking distance along the beach to restaurants and a coffee shop. Highly recommend!

Cute cottage, excellent location
This comfy, vintage cottage was the perfect weekend getaway for our family of four. We enjoyed the view from the dining room, coffee out on the deck, and the fire pit at night. Just steps from the beach and a short stroll to the harbor. On a quiet street. Parking is limited and can be a minor challenge.

As advertised!
I can see why they warn you about parking, very busy little street, but we had no real issue since made aware beforehand by the nice management staff. It was perfect for two people and a dog! We used the fire pit and had some nice times looking out at the beach. Kitchen was adequate to cook some light meals. No dishwasher but we managed. We found the location to be great, close to everything and really is a hop skip and a jump to the sandy beach. We did leave our pillow at the location and staff said they will send it to us (we haven't got it yet but positive vibes that it will be coming shortly). HAving breakfast at the kitchen table looking out at the ocean was memorable! Will be back!

Cottage with views and sounds of the ocean
It is an older beach cottage in a beach community. It is comfortable, no issues. Parking is limited, but had no problems. Views of the water from inside and the outside area overlooked the beach and water. There are level changes inside the cottage to be aware of. Walking distance to shops. It had everything I needed for an enjoyable stay.

Amazing location
It was quaint -everything you needed was there...it was rustic but comfortable. Location could not be better- they allowed us to extend a night!! Neighbors super friendly and beach access easy- parking was not an issue for just 1 car.

Great Getaway
This cottage will always have a special place in my heart. I stayed here a couple weeks ago with my partner and my dog. We had an amazing week walking on the beach, riding bikes to Pleasure Point, getting coffee at the marina, and sitting by the bonfire for hours. It was the first vacation I was able to bring my dog, Toby, and I'm so thankful because he passed away suddenly last weekend. Maybe one day I'll come back to relive the great memories I made there. Thanks so much for sharing your home.

Wonderfully Charming Beach Cottage
This is not a spacious, modern or luxurious accommodation. It is a genuine beach cottage, slightly leaning down the sand hill, with charming personal touches, a view of the beach and the ocean from the dining table, kitchen, deck and patio. We LOVED it! Cozy and comfortable, but there are some fragile things that make it not appropriate for younger children or energetic pets. The parking can be challenging, like any beach town, but this is a quiet dead end street with walking distance to restaurants and marina. We loved the fire pit as an added bonus to cuddle outside and watch the stars come out. The owners obviously have a long term love affair with the ocean, and it shows. Will dream of returning to this spot again. Thank you!

A COVID getaway
Home was very clean including carpets, sanitizers, masks, lysol, wipes etc provided to help make stay comfortable. Very charming small cottage. Perfect for 2 adults and a dog. Excellent location, very close to the stairs to the beach. Short walk to coffee down the beach at the harbor and short walk to several restaurants and a market. We certainly would stay there again if possible. Beach/ocean views from the dining room and kitchen plus back yard patio and deck.
