The views from the front of this house is amazing, the property is large with a couple of reception rooms (good when travelling with kids) and spacious bedrooms. Plenty of room inside for a large group.
There was some issue with communication on messenger site and we received no communication in advance of our stay. Rather than the warm welcome read about in reviews we were met with passive aggressive instructors rather than hello and welcome to the house. There were signs everywhere (and I mean everywhere....) 'no shoes upstairs' 'don't stand on the stones' 'don't throw stones on the grass' etc. Manoeuvring is a little difficult with several cars and a tight turn at top. There is little suitable outside space if you do have nice weather - certainly not for kids to play. We had a minor mishap and broke a kitchen wall clock which meant retention of some of the security deposit- which is fair enough but the value of said clock was exaggerated so be careful. It appeared as if they had issues with previous parties and tarred us with the same brush before we even got there - disappointing.

Hosts were so friendly, Hillside House was spotless clean and had lots of space for 12 of us to enjoy our weekend. We will definitely be returning in the future, everything was perfect and exactly what we were after

we had an amazing 2 night stay in hillside house, the house was beautiful, very spacious and clean, the beds were so comfortable and the view was first class! The hosts were very nice, good contact with them they couldn’t have been any more helpful and having homemade muffins and Prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch. would 100% stay here again.

Good size property with enough room for everyone to be comfortable.
The only downside to this property is the lack of a garden. Its not really suitable for kids. Very steep hill to the road and no area for them to play outside around the house.

The property was lovely, Martin was the perfect host and on the one occasion we needed to ask Martina a question she was at the property in minutes to help us. It was a quiet area however 10 mins in the car and there was lots to do.

Everything, the host themselves was amazing. On arrival they welcomed us with homemade cupcakes and a bottle of Prosecco. The house itself was amazing, clean, modern, everything you needed was provided from a teaspoon to the pots. The view was amazing. Overall great weekend. Thank you Martin.
