Excellent venue for Bromsgrove.

Good sized comfortable room. Excellent breakfasts arranged independently with the landlord. Staff were excellent.

Perfect if an overnight stay required in the Bromsgrove area.

Great breakfast - booked and charged separately - it was huge and great quality. Manager, Gary extremely friendly and couldn't be more helpful.

Perfect

Lovely, friendly pub with a wonderful range of real ales, friendly staff and customers. The room was a good size, clean, with all requirements catered for and well insulated from both the cold and any external noise. Breakfast was superb.

Our stay was very comfortable and we enjoyed the hospitality given to us.

The hospitality was outstanding. The room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was delicious. The manager could not go out of his way to do enough to ensure we were happy and comfortable.

Everything was great, we don’t have anything we didn’t like.

great over night stay at Hanbury turn

location excellent for our overnight stay en route to the peak district. Small car park but managed to get a space, the room was very good and staff great,excellent breakfast at a reasonable price but unfortunately too much for us and had to leave some which we do not like doing but if we stay again we'll be prepared & ask for smaller portions !

Convenient and comfortable

No breakfast available as landlord away. Recommendations of local cafes etc. Parking good.

Very pleasant visit to Hanbury Turn.

Helpful, friendly staff. Close to where we needed to be. Good facilities. Very comfortable.

Pub not open till 12 noon, so no possibility of breakfast. But Morrison's cafe was good and cheap and only about 1 mile away. No hook in ensuite and the heated rail couldn't accommodate 2 sets of towels so we couldn't re-use them. However fresh towels were provided each day.

Very pleasant stay.

Great hospitable welcome, Gary the manager was friendly and helpful The room was great, well presented and spotlessly clean. Excellent shower and a comfortable bed. The bar area was nicely laid out, welcoming with a great choice of beers and snacks etc. A fantastic well run venue, I look forward to visiting again.

No real negatives, a shame there's was no food menu however. The recommendation of the pub up the road was good but would've like to have eaten on site instead of going out

Good location, newly refurbished, but poor choice of food.

The staff and clientele were very friendly, nice pub, good location and parking. Although they have no restaurant they off filled rolls and are very happy for you to have a takeaway delivered! The shower was excellent.

Unfortunately their breakfast isn't served until 9am.

Convenient location, super-comfy rooms.

Bed were incredibly comfortable, the room had lots of little touches like big squishy pillows, bottled water, toiletries etc. Breakfast was extra but well worth it in both size and quality.

Convenient location, can't fault, would recommend.

The location was great for the local wedding we were attending. Perfect being just over a pub and the Manager was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful.

Good comfy rooms, haphazard car parking, hope Landlord sorts his comms with staff & guests out.

Sat afternoon we ordered breakfasts for the next day, Sunday. Seems staff in pub were confused what their roles were & confused which guests had ordered breakfasts and which not; we went down for b. Sun morning, the Landlord was present seemed ok at first, then got annoyed when the other guests came down saying they had ordered breakfasts which he said he had no idea about. It was CLEARLY his staff the night before caused this issue not taking note who ordered what. He would not accept blame himself & kept making excuses, not once did he apologise for poor communications on HIS side. Breakfast was fab tho’. Better Parking for guests also needs sorting out.

Great Stay at a Great Pub

Very comfortable room above a Black Country Pub with 12 real ale pumps.Shame they don't do evening meals.Very friendly staff. Great location travelling to Birmingham Airport.

Room are first rate shower is excellent. Owner and staff couldn't do enough. Beer is well kept

Breakfast is served from 9am. That's too late for most of us. A hot food menu for an evening meal would be superb

Lovely welcoming place to stay

Lovely welcoming landlord and staff. Lovely clean and comfortable room and a great freshly cooked breakfast. I would recommend the Hanbury Turn to anyone. We have been there before and we will definitely be back

Easy, Comfy Pub

stayed here as was attending a company Christmas party at a Manor House which was nearby. room was clean, warm, and just what we needed. Nice soft pillows, good shower, comfortable overall. felt lucky we were here as all colleagues who had been “lucky” enough to stay at the Manor were freezing all night!

it was a very short stay - but nothing to improve. sorry forgot to take any pictures

An excellent place to stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent fresh cooked breakfast. Access to room from carpark via fire escape as well as through pub. Very quiet room, no noise from busy pub or outside traffic at all. Walkable into Bromsgrove town centre, approximately 30 minutes. Excellent choice of good quality real ales in the pub

Emergency lighting in room very bright, not good if you need a dark bedroom to sleep.

Unfortunately they only do breakfast from 9 -10 am so no good if you are there for work, I there are only 3 rooms so I understand why.
