It’s a beautiful place to stay. Lots of interesting facts about the hall which the hosts will tell you about. It is kept in keeping to the age which is lovely. Comfy beds, very clean, good food, hosts are welcoming as is their dog, Peggy. Grounds are beautiful.
Nothing.

Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room and was just right for us No ensuite
No ensuite bathroom. The description stated private facilities which I assumed to be ensuite. Having said that the private bathroom was across the landing and was very large. Also the steep staircase should be declared as unsuitable for disabled guests

Loved the peace and quiet and the calm atmosphere. A delightful home to stay in.
We liked everything about it.

The owners were lovely, gave us really helpful tips on where to go and what to see and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Solely is a really great family-run place - the location is perfect; it's quiet enough to be relaxing (and we even saw a couple of deer), but close to interesting places to visit or find nice restaurants.

Stayed with work partners for a wedding in the area. We were made to feel very welcome.

We had a great time and Pete the owner was great if you needed anything. The breakfast was excellent.
We would definitely stay again.

Pete and Jodie were very helpful and welcoming for our weekend stay. The Hall has an air of grandeur that comes with its age, and the room was spacious and the bed comfy. Breakfast was delicious.
You'll need transport to get around, it's a couple of miles from the nearest town/pub.

Sloley Hall is a beautiful home in the countryside. It was quiet and relaxing and the owners were friendly and happy to share the history of the house with us and other guests.
The rooms are large and beautifully furnished with antique furniture in keeping with the character of the house.
Breakfast was delicious.
We would recommend Sloley Hall to anyone. It was a touch of luxury for us but homely as well. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you.
Nothing. It was perfect.

Personal attention and service. Relaxed atmosphere.
Bathrooms not en-suite - need to be clear on website

Sloley Hall is ideally located to explore North Norfolk, but a car is essential as it's located in a tranquil rural area. It is a lovely property and our bedroom was very spacious. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was very good.
Although each bedroom had a private bathroom, they were not ensuite because the property was a listed building.
4.5
A historic building in a tranquil setting with all the amenities including spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, a good Wifi and an excellent pair of host & hostess looking after all of your needs. From individually prepared cooked breakfast to advice on how to visit local visitor attraction - Peter is always available .
And we can't forget their lovely dog "Peggy" .
Bathrooms - but for a historic building that is a small trade-off.
Puddle in the access road - but it did rain heavily in the night and Peter did tell us how to avoid it.

Serenity of the place

Good choice

Lovely breakfasts, secluded well kept estate, large bedroom, the other guests that were staying, great hosts in Pete and Josie. The livestock cows in fields, Peggy the dog, the chickens
‘Private bathroom’ not en-suite as we had believed, a fair way down a corridor not ideal when there are mobility issues and passing other guests in the middle of the night!
Rooms/bathrooms not serviced during stay eg beds not made, bathroom not cleaned, towels not changed, waste bins not emptied at £180 per night this didn’t meet expectations.
A seating area with coffee table would be good in the bedroom as there was only one chair in the room
The no shoe rule

Excellent hosts, excellent accommodation, excellent location, no need to add any more!

Fantastic setting. Very quiet and relaxing.
Hosts were very welcoming and although we had to leave early due to family reasons, we would definitely stay there again.

View from the room. Friendly owners.

Lovely, very quiet location surrounded by very pleasant countryside. Beautiful Regency house with a family history, sympathetically furnished. Lovely dining room. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Fine views to front and rear. Friendly hosts.
Wifi didn't work in our room (and O2 phone reception poor as well) , so best as a "get away from it all". A chair by the bedroom window would have been very welcome. Minor points, but juice and toast could use better quality ingredients at this price.
We are relaxed about room security but other guests might want a lockable room.

We loved the tranquility and peace of having no neighbours! Yes you drive to the nearest pub/restaurant but that's no chore to get to stay in a location as stunning as this.
If you want to 'get away from it all' it's perfect. Nowhere more tranquil with perfect hosts. We will definitely be back 👌😊

Everything
Beautiful venue, spotlessly clean and a very warm welcome. The perfect relaxing break. Breakfast was delicious too.

The location was perfect, a quiet and remote Manor house located amongst a peaceful woodland surrounded by nature. Ideal for those who love animals.
The room was very large with plenty of space and a super king sized bed.
Breakfast options were good with veg and non veg options.
The dining room was very classy with oil paintings, chandeliers and classic decor with a view of the garden.
The hosts were great, very welcoming and friendly. Attended to us at all times.

A lovely location in the countryside yet close to so many things and places. The hosts were very attentive and made you very welcome. The room was very comfortable, large, well appointed, light and cheery with lovely views. Good internet connection and TV with Netflix etc ( should you have time to watch when there is so much more to do ). Breakfasts freshly cooked, good choice plus cereals and fresh fruit ( not tinned as often the case ) and you could have as much or as little !! as you wanted. Sorry Peter, you were not starving me with my small plate of food. Lovely lounge for guests and beautiful grounds to walk in. Dave the cockerel and Peggy the dog were a delight too to those guests who wanted to see them. If you don't like dogs don't be put off Peggy is kept well away from the guests. You feel as if it is your own home, without the work. Peter and Jodie, I wish you every success with your business. Thank you.
For me personally I prefer a bath to showers but not an issue. Many hotels taking them out in favour of a shower so I must be in the minority. I think the other two rooms have a bath. Other than that for us nothing was a problem.

Sitting in the grand dining room of this magnificent house surrounded by paintings of past generations of Peter, our personable host’s family and looking at beautiful countryside. For us it doesn’t get much better. Excellent breakfast too from Jodie. Great value we thought as well. Would thoroughly recommend.
Nothing.

A lovely property, the rooms are spacious. Our bed was very large and comfy. We sat outside in the evening, the garden is lovely, loved the chicken hut. Breakfast was filling and very enjoyable. The hosts are very friendly and are very helpful.

A good breakfast, although the choice was a bit limited. Freshly cooked. A beautiful quiet location surrounded by farmland
Nothing more we can say.
