OUR MARLOW LOCATION
Our house is in central Marlow, a picturesque riverside town on one of the loveliest stretches of the Thames between Henley and Maidenhead. Marlow is close to London yet surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the Chiltern Hills.
Marlow affords excellent road and train links with easy access to the M4 and the M40. It is located near Windsor, Maidenhead, Henley-on-Thames, Reading, Oxford, and Heathrow Airport (30 minutes). Central London is a 50-minute drive or there are excellent rail connections from Marlow station (to Paddington station) and from High Wycombe (to Marylebone station).
Once at the house you can leave your car and enjoy the town on-foot. We are a two-minute flat walk to the bustling Marlow high street with its many boutique shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars.
We are less than a five-minute walk from the river Thames and Marlow’s famous suspension bridge and delightful riverside park, Higginson Park. Set in 23 acres besides the Thames, here you’ll find an excellent children’s play area, tennis courts, a small public swimming pool, a cricket-ground, and a skate park. From here too you can enjoy the Thames Path either on foot or by bike or you can take a boat trip on the Thames.
There is an award-winning food scene in Marlow led by Michelin starred Tom Kerridge. He runs three restaurants in the town: Hand in Flower (2 star), The Coach (1 star) and the Butchers’ Arms. Twice Michelin-starred restauranteur Atul Kochhar provides two Indian gastronomic restaurants in the town and there are many other high-quality places to eat.
In nearby Bray you’ll find Alain Roux's The Waterside Inn (3 star) and Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck (3 star) and his Hinds Head pub (1 Star). A little further afield in Great Milton, near Oxford is the 2-star Michelin restaurant Le Manoir des Quatre Saisons.
Marlow has plenty to see and do and is also well located for the following attractions:
• Windsor Castle
• Henley on Thames for the Henley Regatta and the Henley Festival
• National Trust Cliveden
• Odds Farm Park
• Midsommer Murder trail
• The City of Oxford with its university colleges and museums
• Legoland
• Harry Potter World
• Roald Dahl Museum
• Thorpe Park
• Chessington World of Adventures
• The Swan Theatre High Wycombe
Marlow affords a range of sporting facilities: rugby at Marlow RFC, boat hire, rowing at Marlow Rowing Club, football, tennis, cricket, bowls, golf (including clubs at Harleyford, Winter Hill Flackwell Heath, Hedsor and Wycombe Heights).

Our accommodations greatly exceeded any normal expectations of a VRBO. Fully equipped kitchen with lots of extras. Comfortable beds, large rooms and quiet. Walking distance to everything. Sarah and Gareth are great hosts and were easy to contact.

My wife and 2 young children had a brilliant 7 week stay whilst our kitchen renovations were taking place.
The house was warm, clean, well stocked with home essentials and perfectly positioned in Marlow.
Sarah (owner) and Gareth (property manager) made us feel really welcome, were super responsive over email / messenger and made the whole experience really simple.
Thanks again. James and family.

A quiet street perfect for relaxing on the patio in the afternoon sunshine, but only 200m from the hustle and bustle of Marlow High Street.
The house is very well specified with plenty of kitchen equipment.
Will definitely book next time we need to stay in the Chilterns,

As a family group of 3 generations we had a fabulous stay! Perfect location, close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Fantastic house and the air con in the master bedroom was an amazing edition.

The house was perfect for my family. Minutes walk to Marlow High Street with shops and restaurants, the river and a huge park. We loved the fact that we had off street parking and a lovely quiet garden to enjoy a drink in the evenings. The house was very comfortable with all modern facilities. Our host was exceedingly responsive. We would love to visit again!

Fabulous House
What a find this place was, gorgeous house, spotlessly clean and the communication with the owner and manager was superb. Fantastic location a few minutes from the high street but yet still lovely and peaceful. There’s everything that you could possibly need in the house. We had the best time celebrating our sons 30th birthday, Marlow is just lovely, we all can’t wait to stay again. Thank you Sarah and Gareth!!

Beautiful house
6 of us stayed at this property for Royal Ascot weekend. The house was amazing! Very clean and comfortable in a very quiet area. Only one parking space but the rest of us found free on street parking nearby . Sarah and Gareth were very helpful as we had many questions about local restaurants and taxis and Gareth contacted us on the morning of the day we arrived to make sure things were okay. Lovely welcome goodies including wine, biscuits and chocolate and complementary toiletries. Marlow high street was lovely with plenty of places to eat. We will definitely stay again.

Lovely Home for young and old
This house was in an amazing location. Quiet yet only 150m away from the main street with many restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
The interior was well appointed with 4 toilets across all 3 floors. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were comfortable for my family of 7. There were even toys and board games to keep the little ones entertained. Out the back was a cozy backyard that leads out to a nice parking space that could fit my 9 seater hire car.
Would recommend for any family that is planning to visit and explore the likes of Marlow, Bekonscot Model Village, Odds farm and legoland.

Great weekend break
This was a perfect location for a group of friends to gather together as the house is within easy walking distance from shops and restaurants, and we had a great walk along the river on Saturday. The owner is incredibly helpful, patient and responds very fast to any queries. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we intend to return.
