This is a lovely property. It is extremreligiösa well maintained, lovely furnishings, comfy bed, thought to everything you might need (robes, outlets, outlets next to bed, hairdryer, coffee and teas, etc). There is no TV but there is no need as there is a cozy bar, a number of comfortable sitting areas with one with a fireplace. The restaurant is beautiful and although the 3 course meal is the only option, it was delicious. Breakfast is excellent as well with a true Scottish breakfast as well as delicious pain au chocolat and croissants as well. Service was extremely friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again.

My room had a bath with a shower unit over it. Climbing in proved difficult for me and standing there with soapy water around one’s feet meant I almost fell on two occasions. A grab handle fixed to the wall is a must.
Ideally a walk-in shower would be the answer.
In every other way the hotel was excellent.

Great little hotel in a wonderful location. Room was very comfortable with a good bathroom. Dinner and breakfast was tasty with good table service.

The staff were absolutely lovely.
I was travelling alone and the staff made sure to pay special attention to myself, more so than other groups of customers.
I had called up a couple days earlier to ask about vegan options for dinner and once I arrived I was given an entire vegan menu in the same style and fashion and the normal menu - wonderful service.
The room I reserved wasn't big enough to host and ensuite - this was across the hall and outside another resident's room. This wasn't a major issue but during covid times it was a little more painstaking.

A very nice place to stay, expensive though, £ 35 for evening meal I thought was pricey. The place is a bit posh for my liking, I dont think that I quite fitted in with the other guests. Probably would have helped if I were a fisherman as the Hotel has lots of display cases of fish and its all they talk about. The room was a single, comfortable, would have been better if it was with ensuite as the floor to the bathroom creaked a lot when walked on

The hotel looked beautiful from outside, the check in and welcome were all fine, but the rooms were terrible. I paid a total of £748 for two rooms for two nights, rooms 20 and 21 were both on the ground floor, small and cramped, not even a television in either room, was sold as garden facing, actually they were by the kitchen with kitchen noise and smell coming in if the windows were opened. The rooms were so stuffy, we had to open the windows. The rooms had been cleaned prior to our arrival. But the price that we were paying was a total ripoff for the size, decor and comfort that was provided. Will not recommend this place to anyone.
The breakfast was good, John in the dining room was particularly helpful. The behaviour of reception staff was in general welcoming and helpful

Everything about the Scourie Hotel experience was 5 star! We had a beautiful room that was not only clean and beautiful, but well designed and little touches thought about. Every single one of the staff were friendly and helpful, and greeted us with genuine warmth. The dining experience was a real unexpected highlight (see photos!). I’d highly recommend staying here if touring the north coast route!

What a wonderful few nights staying at Scourie Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, happy to advise on where explore locally and suggested places to avoid the Nc500 crowd. We recommend dining and trying the set 3 course meal, or try the local fish and chips while watching the sun set.

Absolutely beautiful hotel setting, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The food was out of this world, and the other guests made the experience even more superior than imagined.
