Very old hotel, how can they get the Novotel label... There was a smell of cigarette in the corridor and sometimes in the room. Luckily they start a renovation that is really necessary!

Perfect. All was good. Room, food, lobby…

Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff, amazing location moments walk from the amphitheater and excellent breakfast (free for children!). Rooms need some modernising but they were clean and comfortable.

Positives:
Excellent location, great air con, comfy bed. Friendly staff.
Negatives:
TV remote didn’t work, sink and bath took a long time to drain, needed unblocking, soaps not topped up, housekeeping needs to be a bit more thorough, rooms a little dated.

I couldn’t find anything to complain about, which makes a change. I had the best breakfast and the best night’s sleep of my entire trip to the south of France and the man on reception tried to communicate properly with me.
The TV worked and my room had a sofa for me to lounge about on. I’m going to look for a room here the next time I go to nimes.

This is a nice hotel in an easy access location about a 10 minute walk from Nimes Centre Station. It is also about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the Amphitheatre. Close to nice restaurants and all the touristy bits.

2 nights there for the nîmes archery tournament. Nice hotel in the city center, nice and helpful people there. Getting a bit old.

Found the room clean and well lighted. The scaffolding across the front detracted for the look on the outside. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Very pleasant stay, staff was very welcoming.

Hotel is very dated and needs a serious makeover.
Like most french hotels, the service is an acquired taste that I don't get, especially for the hospitality industry.
Breakfast was average and not a huge selection

The staff was great! The cleaning lady even reminded me that I had left my laptop in the room, right as I was checking out. We loved being so close to everything. Highly recommend.

Rooms were comfortable but very warm even with air con on. Breakfast was okay but a bit limited. Staff were welcoming and helpful.

It was okay. 3 star property. Good location. Very nice staff. Went out of their way to help us when our air conditioning didn’t work and it is 38 degrees out. But still, the property isn’t worthy of more than 3 stars.

Petit déjeuner pas au top.
Pas de jus d’orange frais et pas d’œuf plat.
J ai demandé des œufs et la responsable n’a pas voulu..

Very near to the Roman ruins.

The rooms are tired and little dated. Some functions did not work lights/sockets. There is no A/C and the hotel had heating switched on in the corridors which heated up the room. I mentioned this to reception who stated "Open the Window". The reception staff on the whole were good however breakfast staff a little indifferent. There is a nice atrium layed out for eating but for some reason on the first morning I was not allowed to use the room. On the second morning food was laid out and I assumed it was for guests, no it had been booked by a corporate client! It appears paying guests are treated as 2nd class citizens! Finally parking is underground with no elevator so be prepared to carry bags up a flight of stairs.

Location very good because in middle of the city .

All windows on every single room are locked with a no removable screw.
I asked for a room where I can open the window and sleep without the A/C. But they said that any window at any room can be opened. That means two important things. One is that on this hotel they don’t consider customers as grown adults responsible enough to open or close the window of its own room. And the second and more important. In a pandemic world where the disease stay on the air, they don’t ventilate rooms.

Hotel is in a great location in the centre of Nimes attractions. The room is a little dated and the parking fee is excessive given it is the hotels parking.

This was a really nice place to stay for us. It was close to the train station. It was also right next to a beautiful church. It was also very convenient to walk to many other sites. The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location, very walkable. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open - hours teduced due to low season

Room was nice - just your basics. Toilet was in a separate room though.
Car park was good - is small compared to the size of the hotel but there were plenty of spaces when we stayed. The spaces were a good size too.

Its location is absolutely prime. I would have liked a colder A/C during the night.

It was just an overnight in our way home but staff were helpful and accommodating. We were two adults two children and a dog all in the same room . It was big enough to meet our needs . We had breakfast , there was a good choice and the food was set out well and fresh .
4.0
Our only complaint is there’s no concierge and front desk gave us wrong information about restaurant recommendations. Not st all knowledgeable.
