Everything was good except our neighbors in the next room we're clearly filming a porn video. My 16 year old son did not need to hear that. I called Guest services and they did apologize and send someone up....I heard them knock on their door but I don't believe they answered it. It continued on for at least another hour making it impossible to sleep. I feel they should have just offered us another room.

I was working in the convention centre, so perfect and convenient hotel for me. No restaurant in-house, but some nearby and room included breakfast too.

Clean and large room. Breakfast was enjoyable and got busy early. Too bad that all the plates and utensils were disposable type; not environmentally friendly

I was in the area for a conference. The staff was great. Breakfast was perfect and there were a lot of dining options and shopping within walking distance

I enjoyed our stay. It was for only one night. Very close walking to the French Quarter, and the cruise port. Bed was comfortable. Big counter in the bathroom.
Only complaint. I left my makeup bag in the bathroom. My mistake. But I was on a cruise ship. My husband called the hotel. Was put on hold for 10 minutes. I called. I got through, but Andrew J. Was so unhelpful. Wouldn't check with housekeeping. Didn't want to do anything.
I did get it back. So thank you Hampton Inn staff. Everyone except Andrew J.

Check in was great. The computer service was a little slow but i understand because it was busy. I will say the hot water takes about 8 minutes to geat up in the shower.

Room was clean, bed comfortable. Could hear the tv from next room that night until late & then we finally was able to sleep. Had an issue with valet but was finally taken care of.

The lobby is beautiful...much better than the exterior which was dirty and uneven. The room was plain but comfortable with many soaps and shampoos in the bathroom. The lobby is spacious and breakfast was varied and good. However, if you need shuttle service, sign up ASAP!!..fills up quick!

Front desk staff not the most customer friendly during check in. Luggage check staff very helpful and professional.

Andrew was great at getting a room issue resolved. The breakfast was quickly replenished to meet the needs of the crowd.

Bed was hard to sleep on
We booked this hotel because it was across from Port New Orleans as we were going on a cruise. We called six months prior our hotel booking and asked about parking. No one mentioned about cruise package. we got to hotel and they asked us if we signed up for cruise packaging, which is the shuttle to port, we told them no one told us that and we would have to wait in line the next morning to get on the shuttle for first come first serve. Just stayed one night at hotel and parked at Port New Orleans in their garage for our cruise.

There was huge cockroach in the room. Didn't like that!

The room was mich smaller than what we signed for on expedia. Perhaps the pictures were not true representation. The shower was so strong, it created a mist and if you dont leave the bathroom light on, then the entire mist will settle on the carpet and the floor making it yucky. The AC was good. There was no coffee table, and only a side table.. no place to work on if you need to. The wifi was good and quick. The TV screen was good. I had to use my own log in for streaming. The breakfast was the saving grace- excellent breakfast and coffee was available 24×7. The weather did not help either. The approach to the hotel is very poor with a single lane. It gets crowded real fast. They have valet. I did not use it.

Not bad for the price. Hotel is decent and clean. Bed was comfortable. Nothing was the worse, just regular

Okay stay. The property itself is nice. The breakfast was good definitely edible. The hallway to the room needs to have the carpet replaced. It smells like the carpet at a Payless. The room had someone’s fake eyelashes on one towel the other had strands of hair on it. The room didn’t get pitch black due to the curtain not extending far enough. The bed was really comfortable as were the pillows. I slept great. Location is convenient I may stay again but I’d ask to be in a nicer room. The ballet guys were nice and helpful.

My stay was amazing

The customer service was poor. Staff was not very inviting or kind, especially a young lady at the front desk and one of the valet attendants. Avoiding staff made the stay palatable. The breakfast was atrocious. Didn't bother eating at the hotel after the first day which is disappointing b/c staying at hotels that offer breakfast is a budgeting benefit when traveling with children. I also know that the Hampton Inn tends to serve delicious breakfast; and who would expect less in New Orleans, a place that prides itself on it's cuisine. Overall, the hotel served it's purpose. Getting a good look at the layout though, simply allowed me to know which hotel my family and I will stay at for our trip next year. And I'll definitely make sure to spread the word to other congregants that plan on going for the Full Gospel Convention. Had the customer service been better, I probably would have returned.

I sent a email regarding my feelings
Upon checkin I didn’t receive the room I ordered it was 3 of us and we only had 2 beds for a 6 night stay… your workers especially Ivy was very rude… not only to me and my guest but other guest as well as phone callers… she needs to be retrained or fired she’s definitely not rep representing you guys, the way you should be nothing was done. She never try to accommodate me. She just told me there was nothing that they could do all the rooms were sold out but the type of room that I rented online I did not receive we had to find Apple a parking because there were no parking available from what I was being told so for six nights I had to park my car somewhere else. It was just an overall bad experience housekeeping staff didn’t speak English, so it was very hard getting them to understand what we were saying so our room never was clean. We had to clean our own rooms every day we went and bought towels from Walmart because they said they didn’t have any every day that we asked and we was washing up with hand towels instead of washcloths until they finally found some like day 3… I could go on and on… the bar opened at 5pm and closed at 9 or earlier if no one was there… I must say it’s a beautiful place but needs to be restaffed with people that care and not there just for pay… that’s my 2nd stay there and will probably be my last…
