The place was a bit unclean. There was an infestation of bats near our room somewhere in the ceiling. They also need to exterminate. Lots of cockroaches. The air conditioning was good, but no blankets just a sheet.

The best thing about this place is the location, just a couple blocks from Playa Colonia. However, the room itself was kinda mediocre. Beds were too hard. Kitchen was kinda not really usable to really cook. Clean, but not that clean. Aircon, but it was super loud, and there was no glass on half of the windows so, pretty inefficient. There *were* bunk beds, which gives it a thumbs up with my kid. lol. So, overall, it was not a great value. Although everything in Costa Rica seemed too expensive, so, oh well.

The Villas are very close to the beach and dining options. We were within walking distance of everything we needed for our stay. Taxi service was fast and reasonably priced for the adventures we went on. We saw monkeys, macaws, a bushbaby (?), an iguana and other lizards in the area. The ocean was incredible, and we visited several times. The very best part of the trip was our incredible host, Chito. He was very friendly, fun, knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. We came as strangers, but left as friends.

We arrived 11pm and team was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Lovely swimming pool that we didn't use as we checked out early.

We were really excited to stay at this hotel. We used our reward points to book it. We thought we would treat ourselves to a really nice place. When we checked in they didnt have our reservation. After several minutes of reception trying to figure it out they stuck us in the grossest room we've ever stayed in. The room smelled terrible and was not clean at all. There was dirty mops and brooms in the corner. The propane tank that fed the stove was inside the room and the gas supply from the tank was a rubber hose connected with a hose clamp. Also the hot water head is electric in the shower. 4000w/50amp and the electrical wires were exposed inside the shower. There are so many amazing bed and breakfasts, hotels, and hostels on the Pacificside of costa Rica. Dont stay here

Great place for the price. It's got everything you need when you go to the beach. I loved it and you can walk to the beach from there.
There's a restaurant pretty close called Nido del Halcon. You definitely need to go there.

It was the most peaceful and rewarding resort. The staff stay on site and really care about their resort. It’s very clean and very facilitating. Grilles and unlimited charcoal for cooking by their nice pool. also a kiddie pool. All installed this year. It was a nice room with ice cold AC. The humidity can make it hard to sleep, so the AC units are great.
I would come back.
