On this second stay I knew there was no breakfast available nearby so brought my own. The owner was there to help me with the code for my room which is otherwise very impersonal. The bed is very comfortable and the decor is delightful.
Booking.com describe it as a Bed&Breakfast, which it isn't. The room is comfortable but impersonal and parking is extra but the venue was useful for work.
4.3
There was no breakfast, a fact that was not made clear by Booking.com when I booked. The owner told me that there was a breakfast cafe 10 mins walk away. It was 20 mins walk and didn't open till 9.30am, too late for me as I had to go to work.
No breakfast. However on the hotel website no breakfast was mentioned, unlike Booking.com, so it was not really the fault of the owner.
4.3
Plenty of parking space, well kept interior, friendly host.
Small point - toilet seat coming loose in my room 23

The room was clean and comfortable. There were no problems.
I found the check in process efficient and effective, but a little impersonal. I did not see another person during my stay, except for a friendly goodbye from a host/staff member who happened to be in the stairwell as I walked out the front door.
4.3
Lovely large, comfortable room, quiet, a great location with easy access into Oxford. The owner was really friendly and helpful!
The only slightly negative thing was the shower was not very powerful.
4.3
Quiet, clean, easy to find and parking, location ok for Oxford centre as bus stop nearby and to Summertown for cafes and restaurants
Expensive for what it was, but that’s Oxford.
4.3
Good location for bus into town centre. Owner present and helpful, responded to any needs. Quiet, safe area.
Single room was a bit small but adequate for 1 or 2 nights. Shower was rather tricky to set to a medium temperature. Breakfast option would have been nice on or close to the premises.
4.3
Parking was good. The room was clean.
Tiny room, for two people with two suitcases a challenge. Very unpersonal. We did not meet the host at all. Loud. Price-value did not match.
4.3
The manager was friendly and location 20-30 minute walk to central Oxford
Checkin at 4pm and checkout at 10am, felt pretty rushed. Parking normally charged at £10 extra (although apparently I was let off this time but was allowed to leave my car there until 2pm). Also no breakfast facilities...all would be acceptable but then you remember how much you spent on the shabby but clean room and feel like you have been ripped off.

Our room was lovely and well thought out and equipped with everything we needed, in useful places (sockets and a variety of lighting). The bathroom was a good size and nicely done, with the low level lighting a nice touch. Whilst the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast, the table and chairs in the room made having your own continental breakfast easy to do. Having parking on site was great. The walk into town was easy and flat. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Would start again
Could have done with a few more hangers in the wardrobe

Costa the property manager was present when we arrived and when we left. He was most helpful and friendly. As breakfast was not available on the day we were there, Costa helpfully suggested suitable local restaurants and agreed for us to leave our car in the carpark until 11.00 am.
Breakfast on site would have been ideal, especially if the weather had been inclement.

Clean, lovely room
For the price, it would have been nice if breakfast was included

On a convenient bus route into the city, would be around 25 min brisk walk. Walking through Jericho is a pleasanter option. Felt very safe, small room and bathroom recently refurbished, comfortable bed and soft big towels. Helpful to have parking available
Self check in felt a bit impersonal, builders tea and standard Nescafé sachets, more choices would be good, no breakfast option
4.3
Very comfortable and clean, parking was fab. Costa was very friendly. Check in was easy. Very quick to get in to town. Price was very good considering how close to the centre it is.
Nothing.

We liked the grand old victorian house. We found it easy to walk to the centre of Oxford or to take frequent buses. We had airplane delays on arrival, and the manager was very nice to stay up till 2 a.m. to let us in.
We wished the wardrobe contained more than two hangers...

Good location
The room was very small and basic. Poor shower. I asked to change my sheet as I sweated over night but was told that this is not possible.

Beautiful property in a lovely area. Very pleasant, friendly and helpful owner. Great location and access to restaurants and shops. Free parking on site. Quiet neighborhood.
Nothing really.
4.3
The location was well placed for getting to the centre of Oxford and there was parking provision.
The room was tiny right at the top of the house with lots of stairs to negotiate- not great if you are getting on a bit. The bathroom was also very small and there was no breakfast which was disappointing

I have health problems. I affected from the earthquake in my country. II broke my leg and it wasnt healing. I would like to cancel or change my reservation date. Both booking.com and hotel management didnt help me. I just rate the behavier. they were not kind.
