close to the main city area

Awesome Location. Super fun food options and nightlife. Pretty far from most historical places and museums.

Hotel is a quiet sanctuary in a "lively" area, within easy walking distance of Shinjuku station, a major travel hub. Room was compact, but appeared to offer good value for money against others I compared it with.
All necessary facilities are there and staff are both friendly and helpful. We'd be happy to stay again

This hotel is like new. In a great location close to everything. Buffet breakfast and friendly staff at reception.
1.0
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I booked 3 nights and checked out after 2 nights with no acknowledgement from the reception staff about the fact I was leaving early. The room was small which was what I expected and, but it was noisy. dirty and the breakfast was poor. I paid more money to go top another hotel in the area. Maybe I just got a bad room, but the fact that it was ignored when I left is really poor.

We’ve stayed in many small rooms in Japan, but while those were tiny, they were also excellently planned. This one was just small, with no planning whatsoever, and felt very uncomfortable for two people.
On the positive side, everything was new, and the staff was very friendly. Also, quiet area in spite of the neighborhood.
4.0
Small room for thee people (and their suitcases), but functional. Sofabed was not very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and diversified (a rare thing in Japanese hotels...)

Rooms are very small with next to no storage. Clean and staff were extremely helpful and unbeatable location.

We had a great stay. Very nice hotel with a good quality/price ratio. The standard rooms are a bit small and we would have enjoyed a cupboard.
The lounge area with a very cheap 2 hours drinks package was great to hangout before dinner.
The surrounding area is red light district. But we felt all safe and enjoyed the nearby restaurants.

The staff are nice and really doing their best. We were not satisified with the following:
1. Surrounding area - yes the hotel is located in the heart of Shunjuku but still requires 10-15mins of walking to the nearest subway. At night the area is busy, in the morning the area is quite dirty. You will easily catch ppl drunk on the streets and garbage around. (I even saw a dead mouse, first time ever in my past 3 visits to Tokyo)
2. The hotel room is small as exepcted but the AC, it kept blowing to our head doesnt matter how we position our sleeping position. Also the room is dusty, the rail for hanging clothes or even the door frame

The hotel was very clean and the staff amazing. It is good that they have laundry machines avalilable. Near Shinjuku station (6-7 blocks). The only note is that is within red district

Traditional Japanese room. Bathroom/shower/tub were great.

I love the hotel and room cleanliness , only negative experience is how the hotel is location . As the surrounding environment is quite rowdy especially toward evening onwards .

Not understanding and accommodating at all.

My stay here was wonderful! The staff was great and very friendly. The rooms were nice and clean. The hotel is right in-between kabukicho and Shinjuku so you are right in the middle of great food, entertainment, and nightlife. I can’t wait to be back!

Extremely polite staff, would highly recommend this hotel. Just research the area and if you want Shinjuku this is the place

Great location in Shinjuku, if your looking for affordability, centralized location, AND good atmosphere.
This location is near night life, food, 10ish minute walk to the Shinjuku hub station.
The staff was friendly and great to work with. The room was just what we needed for our 1st stop in Japan.
Do not recommend if you have younger kids.

Me and my Fiance really didn’t like how small the rooms were and that the hotel doesn’t provide many things other hotels provide such as pajamas, toothbrushes, hair brushes, facial masks, etc. Room was very inefficiently organized and set up. Made staying at this hotel an unpleasant experience due to how inconvenient something as simple as staying in the room was.

When i booked the room, i was shown pictures of a proper bed on a bedframe and when i checked in i was quite shocked as my mattress was just thrown on the floor with no space to even move in the room! The lobby smelled so bad of cat urine, it was honestly the worth money!

Did not realize this property is within the red light district. The area felt unsafe at night. The hotel itself is nice and clean, but the rooms are really small.

The hotel was really great value for money and the staff were so lovely and helpful.
Of course, being in Tokyo, the rooms are tiny! But the amenities cover almost everything that you would need.
My only complaint was that in summer, when you're out during the day, the room would get super hot and humid.

The overall comment is good for this hotel, especially is new, the room size is larger than i expected and the water pressure is so strong. The only thing to criticize is the location

Tye room was clean and modern. The shower/bath room was spacious, and above average - compared to many of the surrounding hotels.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped make our vacation an enjoable experience!

As a solo traveller, this hotel was perfect for me.
Room size was enough. Bathroom was great.
I was in heart of shinjuku .
The location was ok, even though was a little weird at night but I felt safe.
Highly recommended.

Very comfortable beds and quiet rooms, despite being in a busy location. The hotel was modern and clean. In a very central location, 5 minute walks to Golden Gai corridor bars.

Great location. Minutes away from the metro station, convenient for shopping, restaurants , and attractions. Will definitely stay here for my next trip here in Tokyo:)

It was near all the clubs and night life

Location - located in a narrow alley in a probably dirtier part of Tokyo. In the future I would avoid staying in the area which is extremely crowded and noisy. Originally booked in the area because of Golden Gai, but the streets were overwhelming and we eventually chose to stay in the hotel for the nights. This is not the fault of the hotel though.
Room - in good condition, clean and adequate. Rooms on the small side but typical in Tokyo. Would be difficult to open large suitcases, so I recommend travel light. Shower is especially powerful and nice. The building has a laundry room, ¥600 wash & dry, detergent included.
Breakfast - strongly recommended. For ¥2200 a person you get a delicious, nutritious and balanced meal, which is very nice during travels. It’s cheaper if you add it to your booking I think.
