What a great find!
We booked this for an overnight stay, before a meet up in Wrexham.
We know the area, so knew it was on the A5 and booked a mountain view room 'just in case' of noise, but we needn't have worried.
We were greeted and shown upstairs with friendliness, smiles and courtesy.
Our room was spacious, spotless, warm and comfortable with great views.
We enjoyed a drink in the bar at the back (Restaurant bar) as the front bar was full, but the noise didn't bother us and by 10pm it was very quiet everywhere. and we enjoyed an undisturbed night.
Great breakfast! The mushroom omelette was probably the best I've had and the cooked breakfast was also excellent. Freshly cooked, quality ingredients and served with a smile!
All round a lovely stay and we will return when next in the area.
Everything was perfect!

Great hotel just off the A5 and in a stunning location. The staff are full of information about the area and Sarah made the stay a real pleasure. Also, lots of gluten free options for fellow coeliacs. Plenty space for parking.

Great pub, friendly staff, great food and best view out the back deck while enjoying a pint.
Nothing really, just watch your head exiting the room as the doorway is a bit low if you are taller

The location of this lovely hotel is great. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious!! Comfortable bedroom with everything you could need for a short stay. Bonus - the hotel is dog friendly!
There was nothing we didn’t like! My only feedback would be the bathroom could do with a revamp, however it was very clean and in working order.

Room was very hot

Absolutely stunning lovely place to visit. The room was immaculate, the food was amazing and staff so friendly and helpful. Beautiful views too!
The only thing I didn't like was leaving. Wish we could have stayed a few more nights.

Lovely room with beautiful view and excellent facilities - especially appreciated as booked very last minute. Staff very welcoming of both us and our dog.
It would have been helpful to have a breakfast menu, to have had muesli available as well as just three choices of Kellogs mini boxes for two people and to have had fresh fruit available and toast & jam/marmalade offered. We had an evening meal there rather than go into Langollen - it was Ok but could have been better - sea bass was rather dry and ratatouille undercooked and not very moist or flavorsome. Deserts rather basic

The host is the sweetest person ever.
The place has a beautiful view in a peaceful environment.
If it wasn’t for the road behind the property (although the rooms are on the other side so we didn’t hear a single car during the night), it would feel just like being in a fairytale.
The room was extremely clean and tidy, with all the comforts, and if something was missing, the host satisfied any of our requests.
Breakfast was heavenly good, with GLUTEN FREE substitutes. Something that doesn’t happen very often.
We are traveling with our dog, which was more than welcome to stay, another plus that made us decide to come here.
Overall a 5 star experience. I feel bad we have to leave after only one night.

The view was stunning and very refreshing. The interior of the room is very suitable for the location. You wouldn’t even notice that there is a bar downstairs if you’re in your room. Quiet and cosy place with lots of free coffee and tea 😊
I think just a suggestion, it will be food to invest in hair dryer for every room and probably bottles of water.

The Berwyn Arms exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and bright, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and fresh with a lovely hot shower and the views are stunning. And to top it all a cooked breakfast is included. Would not consider staying anywhere else in this area. A big thank you to the warm and friendly staff.
