Syleham House is a spectacular Grade II listed five bedroom property located along the River Waveney.
Spread across three floors, Syleham House has been lovingly restored to retain beautiful period features such as full height sash windows, vaulted ceilings and crinkle crankle wall.
The property offers the ultimate luxurious break away for extended families and friends to come together and enjoy a truly idyllic break away. The owners have created space on the ground floor for adults and children to enjoy and retreat to at the end of the day, whether it is a movie night in front of the TV, or an evening spent by the roaring woodburning stove with a glass of wine, Syleham House has something for everyone to enjoy. Offering five spacious bedrooms for guests to choose from, each with it's own tranquil view of the grounds on offer.
Outside an exquisite space for all of the family to come together and enjoy, with a vast lawned garden wrapping around the property, with a front and rear patio area for dining alfresco. The River Waveney runs throughout the garden.
Amenities: Central heating. Everhot range with induction hob, Electric oven, and hob, fridge/freezer, 2 x dishwashers. Smart TV, WiFi. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. A travel cot and highchair are available please request at time of booking. Ample off-road parking for five cars. Large garden with patio furniture, barbecue. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2.6 miles, pub 0.2 miles. Note: Sorry no unaccompanied teenagers. Note: The River Waveney runs through the garden which is fenced off, please keep a close eye on children and dogs. Note: There is a pontoon access via gates to allow you to make the most of the river, please note this is at your own risk. Note: This property only accepts Friday & Monday arrivals. Note: Please note this property is unable to accept corporate/contractor bookings.

Region: Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways – East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.
Town: The small town of Eye is considered by its inhabitants to be more like a village. It has a number of shops, pubs and restaurants, and monthly cinema nights are held at the community centre. Just 5 miles away is the market town of Diss, in the beautiful Waveney Valley. The town has some excellent examples of Georgian and Edwardian buildings, as well as an award-winning museum, the public park, the mere (lake) and shops and restaurants. The Market operates every Friday and coincides with a local antiques and collectables auction. Speciality markets, flea markets and farmers' markets are also held regularly. The town of Stowmarket has an 18 hole golf course, Suffolk's only open air museum, and a variety of shops and pubs. Explore the Suffolk Coast, or visit Thetford Forest (with its Go Ape high wire experience). Other attractions in the area include the wonderful Steam Museum and Gardens at Bressingham and the zoo at Banham.
