After a long drive we were looking forward to a good night sleep. Unfortunately this was not to be, the room was very cramped for 5, 2 adults and 3 teenage children, it was very hot and there was only a tower fan in the room which made no difference. Did not feel very safe as the pull out bed for my daughter blocked the door. Staff were very friendly but did not speak a lot of English. We also had to book and pay for parking where there was no indication of this on the confirmation or advertisement. If you do want to stay you have to pre-book the parking.

They charge 10 for parking, not 5, as claimed on Expedia. Also, the shower is super tiny, barely enough to turn around in.

Connecting rooms were small, but after having read many reviews, was expecting it. Very clean. Very helpful staff. My son's bed was uncomfortable to him. He said mattress was hard and bed was small, but the rest of us were comfortable. Elevator is tiny. Said would fit 4, but more like 2 or 1 with luggage. Close to train station, but don't walk it. All uphill. Overall a pleasant stay

I’ve stayed in hotels all over Europe and the room at this facility was dreadful. The bathroom was so small, you hit your knees on a radiator just trying to get inside, then the sink was in another room. Unless you’re a hobbit, don’t stay here.

Dated and basic. Easy parking. 20 minute walk to chateau and town centre. Good for the price.

We stayed here two nights while visiting D-Day Beaches. We had to pay extra to reserve a parking spot in their private off-street lot. We opted to find our own breakfast in a nearby cafe, which the reception was not too happy about. There is a great bar on the corner down the street, where we drank wine and talked lengthily with locals. Dining was about a half mile away on the river, where there are many restaurants to chose from.

We needed an overnight stay before an early ferry and were very happy with the Savoy. It is not flash, but clean, comfortable and good value. The staff were very helpful. Great room for us and our three children.

The staff was nice enough. Parking was actually available in a private lot in the back. Very convenient and appreciated. Overall, you get what you paid for with this hotel and the price and accommodations were reasonable. We were here to sightsee and not the room.

Very friendly and pleasant place to stay, although the immediate location isn't spectacular.
They have the local French daily newspaper available at breakfast - a nice touch. The croissants are good as is the coffee.
Think twice if you are large of girth as the lift is tiny! But apart from that we had no complaints. The hotel offers great value for money.
The walk into the centre of Caen is about 20 minutes but that would be a quick taxi ride if you are lazy.

Perfect for families. Nice and approachable staff.
As a family of 5 the rooms were the right size and we could access the room where we the kids were staying through an inside door what brought us some inner peace. The rooms were tidy and clean. As a part of a family I couldn't ask for more. Great experience.

Friendly staff that helped out with directions
