Welcome to this spacious and charming Victorian villa, a historic home with original features, nestled in the heart of Oxford. Perfectly located just steps from St Giles, this elegant property combines the beauty of the past with the comfort and convenience of modern amenities, offering an ideal base for your stay in the city.
Steeped in history and protected by Heritage England, the house retains much of its original character, with stunning high ceilings, grand wooden doors, intricate hand-carved banisters, and large windows that flood the rooms with natural light. The home is designed on a grand scale, offering generous space in every room.
Accommodation:
Three spacious double bedrooms:
One with a double bed
One with a double bed and a desk (ideal for working guests)
One with two single beds (plus two additional singles available upon request)
A double futon-bed downstairs in the expansive dining room, offering extra flexibility for larger groups.
Large living room with comfortable sofas and armchairs, opening out through French doors to your private, enclosed patio – a perfect spot for outdoor dining and relaxation.
The fully equipped kitchen features brand new appliances, including a double oven, hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. The retro 1970s tiling adds a touch of vintage charm. The spacious bathroom has a deep bath, separate shower cubicle, and reliable hot water supply.
Location: Situated opposite St Anne's and Templeton College, this property places you in one of Oxford’s most sought-after neighborhoods. You’re just moments away from the heart of Oxford, with its world-class museums, historic sites, and renowned university. Stroll to nearby Jericho, a vibrant area known for its cafes, independent cinema, charming canal walks, and great selection of restaurants and bars.
