A comfortable if rather old fashioned BnB.
Heating totally inadequate for a winter stay. Came on too late in the morning and never really got warm enough.
Breakfast pretty basic, not really good enough to start the day. I would have happily paid a bit more and had a better breakfast.
Very difficult to find in the pitch darkness, owners of places like this need to give a What3Words location and put a large clear sign at the end of the drive, not hidden in bushes a few metres away.

warm welcome awaits you at Corran house B&B with comfy bedrooms en-suite and help yourself breakfast in the dining room with beautiful views over the loch and countryside
nothing to report

The view from our room was espectacular. The continental coffe was good and the location is very convenient.
The mattresses were too uncomfortable. The advertised Wi-Fi signal doesn't exist.

The view is spectacular!! The room was spacious for 3 plus luggage. The owners pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast offered lots of options, including French press coffee! The location is only a few minutes away from Portree, so very convenient. We would recommend to friends.

The location, once we found the accommodation was ok and the views outside our window were spectacular both day and evening. waking to sheep bellow was wonderful.
I believe I requested a room that did not require stairs and the room was one flight up making it difficult for my 83 year old mother. I thought there was a hot breakfast and there was not. the breakfast provided was old meats, dry breads and everyone was opening and touching things which did not make it Covid safe. No host around to welcome, sign at the front was difficult to see with all the tree growth. The shower smelled of algae/mold. This was the least favorite accommodation of our Scottish trip and my mum was not happy.

My room was upgraded.
Location is remote, in the middle of the island, with beautiful view, and a good base to explore Skye

Heating was on twice a day, easy to find, good value, clean
Didn't see the hosts during the stay, only one avaliable plug socket, and i was disappointed to be left with food I'd advised I was allergic to in the room, and that breakfast was self service as this isn't usually safe for allergens so I couldn't have any

Location was outstanding. Continental breakfast was good , room very comfy.
Although continental breakfast had a good variety you needed to be up early to avoid disappointment.
Only saw owner on last day.

I was a little disappointed with the breakfast. Although I fully understand that with COVID-19 changes may need to have been made, if you are advertising as a bed and breakfast people expect a warm breakfast, not a self serve toast station. If this is the only option for safety it would have been nice to see some variety, I cant imagine staying for a week, paying for breakfast, and toast and jam is all you get.

It was clean and had car parking, nice view
Single bed in Room 6 very lumpy, springs may have been broken. Unable to turn on heat in the room. Inconsistent WiFi.

Both owners were very friendly and very accommodating. Great location and good breakfast!
Our only complaint is how warm our room was at night. We left the window open as long as possible but then bugs were coming in so we had to close it. We asked for a fan and we were provided one thankfully! I highly recommend a fan be included in each room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the hosts were more than accommodating! They provided a wonderful to go breakfast for us for our very early ferry (had to leave at 4am). Also, the view of water from front of property is beautiful! Great location!

Location was good but the correct address of the property would have been helpful. The self served breakfast was fine.
The given address was incorrect. The property is located in Kensaleyre not Kingsburgh as given to us. We therefore had some difficulty finding it. In addition the signage for the property was hidden in the shrubbery.
The lack of the owner’s presence was very unusual.

the view from the room is amazing.
we enjoyed having snacks while watching the sky turn from blue to orange.
kettle is not clean

Breakfast was very nice with plenty to chose from.
a bit too remote for my taste but so beautiful anyway

The sunset from the garden was stunning and there is a handy picnic table to enjoy a glass of wine at whilst watching the spectacle.
The room was spotless and well equipped with body wash, tea coffee, biscuits, chocolates and mints.

Location was idyllic.
Good hot water supply.
Nice view.
Absence of welcoming staff or indeed any staff.
Cramped bathroom and room small for 3 guests.
Breakfast was DIY and boring.
Old fashioned landlady notices about muddy boots etc.
This property was like the Marie Celeste. No contact with host throughout stay. Provisions for COVID still in place while most owners are back to normal with sensible precautions.
It seems the owners have lost interest and we believe they are hoping to sell, but still taking money.
Difficult to assess value for money as all accommodation on Skye is very expensive.

Great location, it's easy to go to the main attractions
from there. The room was big enough for 3 adults with
big bags. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
we loved it!

Well maintained and updated rooms. Included continental breakfast was great. Easy check in with keys left out for us. Good location about 10 min to Portree.
Room 3 was a little tight for us but to be expected for so many people. Did not interact with any staff our whole stay but had everything we needed

rooms were nice
breakfast was a little sparse and there wasn’t a common living room in the evening to gather

Great location with a superb view. The hosts were super nice and helped us be at the right place to see Highland cows. Would recommend!

Good clean and spacious room! Location is a great option to Portree - quiet yet accessible. Big outside garden

The view.
The breakfast was underwhelming: plain and generic. Owner/host were non-present without any assistance or information about the area.

The shower was powerful and the towels smelled delicious--felt like being in a spa!
The house doggy (golden retriever?) was friendly. There was a herd of hairy coos just up the road. The breakfast room was comfortable and self service.

Enjoyed the stay, excellent location. Very nice room with excellent view. I stayed in the triple room.
Wifi in the room wasnt great; Eggs could be provided for people who dont eat meat.

Owners are INCREDIBLY friendly and knowledgeable. Extremely clean rooms and dining area. Very thoughtful tea and cookies left in room. Close to hiking trails and a view from windows are lovely.
There is no cooling mechanism other than opening the window so on warm days the sun makes it a bit too hot. The shower is tiny but extremely clean. The continental breakfast may leave you a bit hungry if you plan a full day of hiking, so plan to being plenty of protein and snacks.

Nice view from the upstairs window.
Welcome was a sheet of paper in the foyer telling me that the cooked breakfast I had been promised in the advertising would not be provided. The reason was something like "exceptional circumstance". COVID restrictions ended months ago. The full cooked breakfast is still advertised on the website to attract business. You only find out that you won't get it when you arrived. A rather dispiriting continental breakfast is not a satisfactory replacement. The owners should change the website or provide what they promise.
