After flying all night and then driving most of the day, I just wanted a quiet place to sleep. The bed must have been good because I slept 12 hours straight.
Bathroom was a little small.

It was exactly as we had expected

Clean, close to highway and had everything we needed. Super friendly staff as well.

It’s on the water and pretty quiet.
First off, their office door is always locked and he wasn’t aware of our reservation. Was overcharged even though I told him it seemed higher than it was supposed to be and he assured me it wasn’t. I checked when I got to my room and he did overcharge me, he then ignored my email and made excuses the next morning. I had to go to my credit card with my emails to get the difference back. It didn’t need to get to this. The shower head was way too low for my kids who are tall, even for myself standing at 5’5, the parking lot was also a skating rink, the walkways were ok but the rest was sheer ice.

It was close to friends we were visiting.
The toom had a strong perfume-like smell, maybe to cover smoking in the past (it is currently non-smoking).

Friendly host, scenic location.
Hard bed.

Clean, fresh smelling. Beds were decent. Lots of pillows available. Good selection of cable channels
The shower needs updating. The water pressure was fantastic but the shower head was even too low for me..I'm 5'5".

Beautiful view from the room
we had trouble figuring out how the heater worked, but if we asked how it worked I sure the owners would have helped us.

The view of the St Lawrence was great from the back of the motel outside our room. The room & motel is outdated. I wouldn't be surprised to see a big hotel chain purchase, tear down & build something modern as the river view is a plus for tourists. The owners were friendly & doing their best.
The pool looked like it had not been in use for many yrs. There seemed to be permanent residents at the back of the motel.

Beautiful spot along the river.
Rooms very clean
Everything as advertised
Will stay again if in the area

Great motel experience! Very comfortable bed, very clean and quiet room, & very friendly owners. I would definitely stay here again. It is a beautiful property with an amazing waterfront view. The dock is a great place for coffee in the morning. The room had a fridge, microwave & coffee maker. We were in town for a wedding & this room was all we needed at a reasonable price.

The location is right near the water so it has a lovely view. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were soft, the pillows were fluffy, and the room looked very nice. We had fresh towels, clean garbages, basic amenities, a cute little ac unit in the window, a bar fridge and matching microwave, and sepia printed artistic pictures in the room. They even had a nice fresh bouquet of flowers sitting on the table in the room for us which was a really nice and romantic touch. There was free wi-fi and tv with shaw-tv which we didn't use but I'm sure would keep anyone entertained. The front of the unit had a couple of chairs for you to sit in and enjoy the view. The check-in was easy once we got to the check-in desk. The reception desk clerk of the place was very nice and helpful. Found our key and asked if we wanted a king or the two doubles we had requested as they were the same price. Check-out was also super easy just a key drop off bin.
The First 5 Minutes of customer service were awkward and off-putting. We were looking for the lobby or check-in building to get the room key when a man called out to us asking if he could help us. We told him we had a reservation and he asked through who, we said bookings.com and his tune changed immensely becoming noticeably grumpy about using bookings.com. We learned that he was a small business and they lose 10-15% of sales to the website. He was also annoyed we were there at 11:45 and told us we would be lucky to have a room (which I had booked a month in advance O_O). So your mileage may vary depending on if you used bookings.com and might need an earlier check-in time.
FYI - Check-ins are normally at noon because they need time to clean, which makes 100% sense, but we had asked if we could have an earlier check-in and had been approved via email...
Suggestions: Please don't approve earlier check-in times if you can't do it - we could find something to do for another 15 minutes it wasn't a big deal. Also, don't sign up for or use bookings.com if it causes issues. I'm just a customer who wants a bed for a night and to relax. Booking.com is just the easiest way to find and book rooms when you don't live anywhere near the city you are visiting. I'm not trying to hurt your pocketbook.
Smaller note: The fan had a faulty circuit and would only work if held down BUT the AC worked great. My issue was that the curtain covered the AC so you had to decide if you wanted to have cold air or the light blocked at 5-6 am.

Location is great - awesome view too! Owners are very friendly and likeable.

Meat the expectation. Friendly reception with super quick service
No clear note to leave the keys in the box. I had to knock at the door early in the morning and bother the reception. Sorry for that

This family run motel is loved and cared for.

The beds and pillows are absolutely the most comfortable ! Great quality of linens.
Unfortunately this is more of a funny thing. We are a little bit tall the showers are a little short lol. We laugh about it.

Older place but well maintained motel with exceptional views. Very clean and comfortable. In room coffee and small fridge made it easy to get going in the morning. Bed was very comfortable. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating we will definitely stay again if the opportunity arises. Great value for the money.
We drive a truck so we found the parking a little tight.

good location, quiet.
Everything requires an upgrade. Worst bathroom layout I've ever seen. Repair or replace the lamps, they're falling apart.

The location was great for us as we were traveling home from Quebec to Picton Ont. The property was beautiful and well maintained and very quite. Being on the waters edge was a bonus.
The lights weren’t great for reading purposes. The electric plugs were not great and the light over the table didn’t seem to work. Instructions on how to work the tv would have been good.

Beautiful location, outside settings very well maintained
Room was a little small for my husband to get around with his walker

location was great for our trip, no breakfast included nor expected, staff very welcoming and helpful

Nice location overlooking the water. The rooms were clean and comfortable with good tv and wifi. The motel is an old design with all the units at ground level accessing the outside directly. Reminds me of trips with my family in the 60's. A little rustic feeling, which suited the setting. I would definitely go back.
Washroom was small and dated with a tiny shower. But I'm nit-picking given the era of the motel, I'm not sure what could be done.
4.5
Owners were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The motel is small and the only place close to where we visited. Would have no problem coming back. Motel was quiet and a/c worked well.
Rooms were smallish but comfortable. Washroom facilities were small and cramped, but were clean and functional.
