Blackbird Inn is in a fabulous location. Easily walkable to restaurants and shops. The Inn is lovely and the staff was very helpful and friendly . Also, we had allergies in our party and they were very accommodating for breakfast items that were safe for us.
The breakfast offered was very good, however a few more options would be very nice.

Great breakfast and great service!
Wifi was down on the first day we arrived.

The breakfast was very good. Staff was nice. Comfortable bed.
It wouldn’t be great for handicapped people.

It tasted good and was a well balanced meal, as well.

Location was good, walkable. That's about the only nice thing I can say.
I haven't had such a bad experience at a hotel in a very long time. Breakfast was eggs covered in saran wrap and left out for us. The room we were given was tiny, and right on the main road. There was road noise all night. That would have been OK if the AC worked and could drown it out-the AC turned on, but made the loudest, most obnoxious noise imaginable. In the morning we requested to change rooms. After waiting an hour for the receptionist to show up, she said the comparable room upstairs was $150 more than that same room was listed **on their own website.** As we tried to explain this to her, she just said, "that's not what my computer says." We asked for our money back for the second night so we could just book somewhere else; she said she'd have to speak to the owner, who wasn't in, and no we couldn't contact him ourselves. He ended up calling us hours later, tried to convince us the AC worked "fine" and there was "no noise," and reluctantly agreed to refund us for the second night-only he still hasn't and that was well over 6 weeks ago! The owner is a silicon valley guy with zero hospitality experience. Just wow. Will never return.

Breakfast was great. Location was perfect
I’m not a fan of salmon but that’s not the fault of anyone. So one morning we walked downtown for breakfast

Loved the Craftsman architecture. Walking distance to downtown
It’s all good man.

What a great B&B in Napa! So much character and it truly is a home away from home. We had a spacious room with airconditioning and bathroom was good size too. The breakfast changes every day and all were delicious.
The happy hour between 5pm and 6pm is such a lovely touch, they’ll have wine ready and selection of cheese and nibbles. There is also a chess board for the chess lovers.
There is coffee, tea and soft drinks available to grab any time.
Nothing to failt, it exceeded our expections!

beautiful Inn with very comfortable accommodations! perfect location making it easy to get to great restaurants and wineries.
Not that we didn’t like this about the property, but we were surprised that breakfast was not a hot meal. However, it was delicious and the staff very attentive to dietary needs and special requests!

Breakfast was good. But have to go back to the old hot, buffet breakfast.
Better if the breakfast will go back to the buffet.

Location was perfect, just a short walk to the Main Street and wine toasting rooms, comfiest bed I’ve slept in for a while and the bathtub was fabulous! Free tea, coffee, cookies, pop and wine and cheese hour. Breakfast was delicious! Couldn’t fault anything about our stay!

location to walk to downtown Napa
worst location in terms of being able to sleep. it’s on one of the busiest intersections in Napa and not only are the cars loud, they shake the whole room while you sleep and they drive by. I asked for a quiet room and they gave us the corner room right on the intersection. I also needed to rest during the afternoon but couldn’t because of the traffic, absolutely insane. how people can sleep at this property is beyond me. Wi-Fi is slow and the beds are super soft which hurts my back. by far the worst hotel experience.

beautiful rooms and a lovely cosy arts and crafts living room and porch. Great proximity to the vineyards and a quick walk to downtown Napa
Location right next to the road was surprisingly quiet at night…getting in and out of the Finch house parking lot would have been easier than the small main road park but it’s doable!

Breakfast was good. Coffee was late on second day. Receptionist was spotty. Location was great but after walking around found better places to stay for this price. This is an old, remodeled bed and breakfast.
no ramps to walk up and down to room. They had one handicap parking space but no way to in rooms.

All of the stained glass design and carved wood inside made it exceptionally warm and inviting. Location and private parking is a plus.
The bathroom fan was noisy.
4.5
Great location near downtown, but far enough away for a quiet night. Loved having breakfast on the private patio and the in-room fireplace.
Bed was a little squeaky.
4.5
Very Comfortable bed and linens and pillows. Beautiful craftsmanship and landscaping. Loved the big tub and spa robes and fireplace. Such a cozy room with the rain coming down outside! The anniversary champagne vas very thoughtful. Front staff were awesome… very nice to talk to! Great food recommendations. Easy walk into town. The umbrellas available were perfect.
Breakfast was ok. A little too many onions for me and would have enjoyed a sweet to go with the savory like waffles or pancakes. The woman taking care of dishes seemed a little grumpy but I probably would be too, if I was taking care of a bunch of privileged folks😕
Was worried about the furniture not having coasters but moisture didn’t seem to stain the wood. Would have loved some chocolates… can you tell I have a sweet tooth?

loved the Blackbird Inn for its prime location & friendly staff. loved the bird detailing everywhere & fresh coffee in the morning outside our room. The bed was very comfortable & the shower was good .
we were moved room the day we arrived and we didn’t get the bath I had requested. Our room was very dusty & small . The breakfast served was basically that, served on a plate with clingfilm on a tin tray , a bit like prison ! I think a simple selection of breads & pastries with fruit & yoghurt would be perfect .

well centralized, cozy, comfortable
staff could be a bit more warm, breakfast was slim.

location
very poor “wine hour” offering. A small plate of a whipped cheese plate and dry crackers. No presentation at all. Breakfast was more substantial, but a plate wrapped in Saran Wrap does not cut it, especially given the room rates .
The bathroom faucet leaked with black moldy water.
