Location is great
Beds very comfortable
There no choices for breakfast.
Just what's on the plate that's put in front of you!
That's not a 4 star hotel standard

Quaint, traditional
None- as expected from an old mansion

The staff did a great job. Breakfast was excellent and room was nice and clean.
Really unique room. Walking distance to downtown

This was a cute little Inn, located in a quiet neighborhood approximately 3 blocks from downtown Napa Valley. For two adults, the facility met our need for a two night stay. The Inn is older, so it does have that "older home" smell that could be off-putting to some. The smell was not strong in our room, which had a sofa bed and separate bedroom with a queen size bed and TV. Bathroom was very modern and shower was great. The room came with a fridge, small writing desk, and side table. A Keurig coffee maker and pods were provided; unfortunately it was located in the bathroom, which we felt was not quite so appropriate and therefore, did not use. But we thoroughly enjoyed the daily breakfast, strong coffee, and water.
I dislike the lack of personal contact with staff. During our stay, we met one staff who provided us with keys, brief run down of our stay and check-out and that was it. The only other time we encounter staff was during breakfast serving. Being an Inn, I thought there would be more personal contact with staff for chatting and touristy engagement. Unfortunately, there were none. You are pretty much left on your own, come what may. Thank goodness we didn't have any issues during our stay. Aside from that, we had a good stay.

It was a cute little novelty stay! Super cozy and fun. Everything was clean and everyone was super nice. Noise wasn't too bad, but you could definitely tell if people were talking normally if you were near that room. There is definitely creeking, but it was part of the fun. Only stayed one night, but definitely enjoyed and would love to go back!
We weren't sure if we could explore the building more, but the areas we knew we could access were fun to see and enjoy!

Unique
The fact my car was damaged in their lot.

Nice/tasty breakfast (different every morning), spacious size of room, comfortable bed, within easy walking distance of restaurants and town, nice neighborhood to walk in
stairs/hallway flooring creaks; with the location of our room, we could hear when anyone walked by either coming back late in the evening or first thing in the morning

Great breakfast, caring staff, cozy room.

Despite the reservation with Booking, the room is not available. I must find another hotel.

Location is very accessible to downtown. Breakfast presentation and tastes are superb and so is the strong coffee served...thank God, I can't stand weak coffee, and I think it's very representative of the owner having pride in what they deliver. The staff is also very courteous and the place is clean and well appointed without too much furniture for a relaxed feel. We loved the spaciousness of our first floor room behind the dining room. The mattress was very comfortable even for my husband who has bad back!
The only issues were that no one was reachable after 10:00pm as our toilet was backed up with first use (we were out for a jazz show and dinner) without a plunger provided. There was also no hair dryer available so I had to sleep with damp long wet hair (not recommended...could cause headache next morning) and although I was fine with the upfront stated charge of $30 in bookings.com, I didn't understand why there was an additional $24+ charged before we arrived at the inn.

convenient location to downtown
great breakfast
they honored my special request without additional charge
bed was too soft and floor needs propping up

Breakfast was not bad. Bed was extremely comfortable !! Loved the pillow
Bathroom was freezing. Need space heater or heated tile floor. Refrigerator and coffee pot was in bathroom which was a little weird. Bathtub, oversized, was fit into and old bathroom that still had a chandelier above the tub. Window needs maintenance and had so much play it rattled in the wind. Lastly, the hairdryer shot out sparks and shorted out.

Walk to downtown, river walk, and nearby restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff and owners were very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

The room where we stayed was very nice - modern bathroom with one of the nicest showers ever! Breakfasts were lovely. Area was safe and quiet. Bed was very comfy.
The house was very “creaky” and looked a bit worn in daylight. It was a little further from downtown Napa than we thought. Not much information given at check-in.

pretty, unique, historic property in a great location near downtown Napa with comfy bed & hot breakfast.
the door was locked before 3:00 pm- No dropping off bags early. Parking in property on property is limited.. The morning coffee was just adequate

The bed was comfortable
Very overpriced hotel for several reasons.
We paid for 2 beds with this hotel in the room we reserved, however the hotel stated booking.com did not notify them of that and were only paid for one bed. The price we were charged by booking matched up to the hotel's policy for the extra bed. The second bed is located in an adjacent room, part of the same room, but behind a locked door. The hotel stated it was booking's fault for keeping the money and not notifying the hotel of the correct reservation, and the hotel would only give an extra bed if we paid again, which we refused to do since the money had already been paid to booking. Hotel ownership stated emphatically it was booking's fault and wouldn't even try to fix the reservation.
The hotel is also rundown and cold. The window in our room had a gap at the top letting cold air into the room, cracked and moldy at the bottom, and a crack down the middle. This caused the room to stay cold. The fireplace didn't work, molding was coming off the walls, and the bathroom, especially the shower, is in serious need of a deep cleaning.
Staff wasn't really welcoming or great on their interactions. To get inside the hotel after 3 pm, you need to ring the bell. Nobody opened the door so we went for a walk. Second try to get in took us awhile ringing and ringing and knocking. Their excuse was, we are short on staff. When we were trying to figure out the reservation issues, the receptionist would disappear to the back to speak with the owner, then return with the latest answer. At no point could the owner be bothered to interact with their guests directly so either the receptionist was faking it or the owner just didn't care enough. The receptionist was also very rude and condescending in her argument. She tried saying they have had a problem with booking before, but apparently they don't care to address a known issue.

Comfortable beds, great location, clean
The electric plugs were loose and the wood in the window needs to be refreshed, should offer 2 choices for breakfast

it's a very cute B&B. The room was small but nicely decorated. Breakfast was great
The bathroom door was a bit weird - perks of a very old property I guess. Everything else was fine

Downtown location was excellent. property was well maintained. The older age and architecture was unique and charming
Artificial turf was cheesy

The location
The breakfast was bad.
Parking is limited.
Noise level of the guests are closely monitored by staff who will come to your room and knock on your door.
So if you want to over night in a library, park on a public street and eat small portions of bad food at the tune of 450 dollars a night this is the place for you.

Great location and property with onsite parking. Full of character when you enter but the rooms had a modern finish. Staff were friendly.

nothing.
The door to the bathroom steeled, the sink was not in the bathroom. The floors in room 10 were horribly uneven and possibly cause an individual to trip and fall.

Only complaint: Would have been nice to have some luggage assistance, up the stairs.

Clean & spacious room. pretty Peacock stained glass window & a cute balcony
It smells like an old building & very dark strange lobby. i think I’m just not a bed & breakfast person. too old

Great location, historic building, clean room, and nice breakfast.
Staff wasn’t very engaging and the room windows were very cheap/thin. Neither of these things took away from a nice stay.
6.0
Breakfast is very tasty, the cook/clean lady was very very friendly! Building is beautiful.
Really no hospitality, can’t find any staff other than check in time (ringing door bell). Doesn’t feel welcomed, but the stay was comfortable. Shower water intensity was weak, bathtub is relatively old so I didn’t end up feeling too comfortable using it.
