Great pit stop for a night before going up Fuji

Good location, large room, shared amenities were clean and useful.

Mattress pads were way too thin… Also dryer just got hot, not actually drying the clothes

Exceptional

The staff were very helpful in ordering a taxi, even at the odd hours. Excellent location and very close to the main train station and the bus stop for Fuji.

Great! Traditional japanese style

Location is great! Everything is near. The style of hostel is like old traditional Japanese houses. The bed was comfortable and I liked the big blanket. There are few rooms so it's not crowded. The restrooms are clean and comfortable. Although you can hear your neighbors very well people were polite and didn't make noise

It was a little bit cold on the floor.

Great location, uncomfortable sleep

it was clean, and the room was spacious. Checkin was a breeze when you preregister and then use the tablet. Location was fantastic as it was 3 min from the train station and 10 min from lake Kawaguchiko.

The only issue I has was that the futons are ridiculously thin. it’s like sleeping directly on the floor…

Clean and intimate little hostel. Feels like someone's house in a good way. Free amenities were nice. Staff is eager to help

The twin room is inconvenient, you don't have a place to put your things besides the bed as the bed is an upper bed, and in the "first floor" you got your desk and chair. I saw some dust and zmall stains on the towe

Superb

Lovely little hostel in Fujikawaguchiko, right by the station and at walking distance from the lake too! Amenities like towels, slippers and a kettle and mini fridge in the room made the stay very comfortable.

A shelf or another place to store some clothes would have been nice! The raised bed saves a lot of space, but this room is only made for small people 😁

Will definitely come back again

Close to Kawaguchiko station. Near to shops and places. Clean room, friendly and accommodating staff, complete bath and laundry amenities. There's an air purifier in the room

The weather was so cold and their heater is not enough to heat up the room.

Nice but not in the winter

✅ nice Location with parking ✅ Easy check in (tablets to check in and check out at your convenience) ✅ Nice services, Line or what's app if any request

It's a old building which is not well isolated... I would not recommend this place in the winter. ❌ Bathroom without heater.. would have be the same to have an outdoor bathroom ❌ Even with a heater the bedroom was really cold (but way better than the bathroom

Location was perfect, very near to the train station and bus stop, restaurants and convenient stores. Also nice host, very friendly and responsive. Our room was clean and cosy! Also the our facilities were so clean! Thank you so much!

Some information about how to use the dryer would be helpful!

Very nice stay, cute renovated old Japanese house, clean and comfy; great value for money!

Newly renovated and clean, big comfy tatami room with small table and fridge, good airconditioning, clean common showers, easy self check-in; great value for money

no parking space on the premises but free parking provided close by, so no complaints!

Great location with beautiful Japanese style hostel.

The location was perfect, few minutes away from the station and city center. Pretty Japanese style house with beautiful renovations.

There were 5-6 ants in our room and should killed them… renting car is out of services , it was one of the reasons I chosen here .

it was nice that it was close to the station but since the other rooms are close to each other we can hear everything and it was very distracting when sleeping. I honestly like the room space though

the beds were too thin where it just felt like I was sleeping on the flooor.

Good for travers who takes train, not for those with cars as cars cannot enter into the narrow street, but thankful that

The room is tooooooooo cold while the air conditioner is not really warming at all. Sound proof is weak as we can hear noises from other rooms.
