Superb Bed and Breakfast very close to the sea at Southbourne.

Spacious, light bedroom with very comfortable bed and a sofa, and able to see the sea. Breakfast was super: fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt etc, then a delicious cooked breakfast, and good coffee. The owners are delightful people and my stay was really enjoyable. Will definitely return when I again visit family in the area.

You would be sorely sorry if you didn't stay at Beach Lodge. Truly a splendid stay.

Elisabetta was a fantastic host! She greeted us so warmly and gave us a tour. We felt right at home in their beautiful B&B. Our rooms were exceptional and so comfortable. And the breakfast was Wow! Great variety, so fresh, and tasty! There was nothing to not love at Beach Lodge. Really a great stay!

Southbourne Hotel Highlight

The owners are very accommodating and the room facilities very up to date and the food is top class

The headroom and width between bathroom door and hand basin was very tight and proved awkward to maneuver within.

Amazing B&B

Newly and modernly refurnished, at a high standard. Good bed, great shower, bathroom with under floor heating and heating in the mirror. Delicious and freshly made sweet treats every day in the room. Very good service. Very polite and useful staff. Delicious breakfast, cooked specially for each person. Very nice location. Very convenient to explore the coast and the New Forest. Very close to the beach front, but also close to the local high street, in a quiet road, at a short ride to good restaurants.

One of the rooms we booked was with a sea view. I was expecting an open sea view, but only got it from one of the windows and we needed to be in a standing position. 😔 The amount of softener on the water needs improvement. It’s too much, making it difficult to remove soap from the skin and shampoo from the hair.

It was truly relaxing, welcoming stay. Casper and team were awesome!

This is a beautiful house. Modern, clean, great location and a real eye for detail in making a guest welcome. The rooms are lovely, with great facilities, and good coffee!! The breakfast is amazing!

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel.

Wonderful

Beach Lodge is a beautiful house, recently refurbished and tastefully decorated. Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious, nutritious and thoroughly instagrammable. While the storms raged outside, we cosied up in our room, happily noshing on the complimentary slice of cake that awaited our return each evening. Thank you to Casper and his lovely wife who are wonderful hosts. Following in the footsteps of so many other contented reviewers, we’ve already booked a return trip in the Summer… which says it all really!

amazing fabulous absolutely perfect 11 out of 10 easily

Bright clean welcoming nothing too much trouble lots of extra little extras like hot cookies on arrival muffins on day two absolutely fabulous, fruit bowl at breakfast presentation first class , breakfast hot fresh and tasty. Casper an amazing host love love love it we will be back 🥰

Beyond amazing with little touches that made it simply wonderful

everything. from the moment I entered I felt welcome and was looked after. The people are the loveliest and the little touches like a freshly baked cake in my room each day made it feel really special and nothing was too much trouble. the breakfast was beyond amazing and the options were phenomenal. I will absolutely return and wouldn’t stay anywhere else for my family visits. A million % recommend this place.

A perfect stay and looking forward to returning in July.

Beach Lodge is a few minutes walk from the sea front with free parking. It is a friendly, family run B & B, decorated to a high standard, and is clean and comfortable. There is an excellent breakfast menu with quality ingredients. The homemade cake and cookies were delicious.

Exceptional

Possibly the most luxurious B and B we had stayed in and more like a boutique hotel. Lovely hosts, great breakfast and an added bonus of a car charging point of our EV.... Relatively pricey but well worth it. Modern marble en-suite was also superb.

From the moment my friend and I entered Beach Lodge, we were made to feel at home

The breakfast was easily one of the best I have experienced at b&b stays - beautifully presented, a wide selection of fresh fruit and cereals, yoghurts, fruit juice and a menu that was left in our rooms when we checked in, where we could pre-select our preferred breakfast choice the night before, as well as what time we anticipated wanting breakfast (which included porridge, omelettes, "full English breakfast" as well). We had no sooner walked in to the dining room, when we were attended to, and asked if we would like tea or coffee and then we were left alone. The dining room had recently been redecorated and had an awesome skylight which really opened up the room.

I really cannot think of anything I didn't like!!

This place was absolutely spot on. The rooms were quiet, modern, large and clean. The full English and vegetarian breakfast served with fresh coffee or tea. More tea and coffee was offered every morning. The hosts were very pleasant and informative.

Our stay overall exceeded our expectations. Casper was unfortunately unwell so couldn't check us in in-person, however he stayed in touch and was a very helpful and friendly host. The house and our room was absolutely beautiful, clean & spacious. So much thought went into the breakfast by Agnus the lovely housekeeper. Our breakfast was even brought up to us one day as there was an event on downstairs. The food was so tasty and the options were fantastic. We would 100% stay again!

Par excellence!

Breakfast was 5 stars and it felt like we were in a 5 star hotel and the owners went the extra mile. This is better than a home away from home. I can only recommend this place with the highest ever possible recommendations for you your friends, neighbors colleagues and family.

Great location, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, fantastic hosts

simply everything was wonderful! We stayed in the deluxe double room with sea view and it was extremely comfortable and very well equipped. The shower was a dream and we had a lovely big bed. There was plenty of water, coffee, milk and even cake on arrival and the next day. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options available and very fresh ingredients. We would love to stay again.

Beautiful & excellent location.

Excellent location, great breakfast, Casper was friendly, helpful and accommodating! Loved the chocolate chip muffins! Close to beach and lots of restaurants & pubs.
