Visited in May 2024 for a hiking trip. The location was convenient to many trails in the area. The property was great. All the amenities were available as listed, the place was clean, and instructions were easy to follow. Would definitely visit again!

Was a wonderful place to stay. Pictures dont go is justice.

Enjoyed the stay, very clean and comfortable townhome right in Govt Camp. Enjoyed the back deck overlooking the creek. Easy check in and out. Minor maintenance issues: garbage disposal not working, CO monitor not working, and not able to stream Netflix as advertised. But, would definitely stay again.

We had a party of three adults and one ten year old. More than enough space and bathrooms! Balcony had an amazing view of snowy trees and river. Spacious garage with room to hang out and to hang snowy clothes after a day of riding. Kitchen stocked with about everything you would need. Beautiful dinning room table. Lots of stairs!! The pool and 2 hot tubs are about a minute walk from the front door. 2 minute walk to the shuttle stop that takes you to timberline for $2. Government camp is about a four min walk to various places to eat, a store, and an arcade. After arriving we didnt get back in our car until we had to leave! Everyone is so friendly!! By the time its time for you to leave youll wish you had booked just one more night!! Absolutely some of the best times you will experience! We were fortunate enough to be there during a ton of snowfall so we did hear lots of plowing sounds throughout our stay but that is part of mountain towns during winter to make sure people are safe! Highly recommend this place.

Great location. Easy access to Timberline, Ski Bowl, and Summit. Short walk to shops and dining. Will stay here again in the future.

It had all the amenities that anyone could want. Also, it was nice that it backed up against the river, and only shared one wall with another townhome. We will see you again next time!

Good location for many things we wanted to do in the area. The beds were comfortable. We had the hot tub to ourselves. We were thinking it would be a great location for my daughters wedding next fall.

Nice condo for our stay. Great location and easy access; cute place. My only thought was that it could use some updating (new pots and pans come to mind). Could have been a little cleaner (there was hair in the bathroom). Also, I only stay at non-pet friendly rentals due to allergies and it was obvious from the minute I walked in that the owners have dogs there. There was a dog pen in the living room and carpets could use a good cleaning under it. Overall would recommend it, though, and we enjoyed our stay.

The condo is near bars and restaurants in downtown govy (all within walking distance). The unit was the perfect size for a small group and had all the amenities.

vacasa great vacation company to deal with. they reach out and fix any issues within short time.

The location is hard to beat and pool / hot tub are great!
The home itself is quite worn and the kitchen lacks essential items like potholders and jet dry which is required to make dishwasher work.
Cleaning staff was still cleaning when we arrived so our check in was delayed. We were asked to start a load of laundry and dishes before we left, but there wasn’t soap of jet dry so we could not.
We will probably opt for a different unit next time we stay at Collins Lake.

Great place and great location fully stocked. Having the garage and WD was great. If it does snow they do come early to push snow right outside window so it does get noisy . But we will be back.

The location was amazing! We were walking distance to the center of government camp. The condo was very welcoming and clean. We definitely will be returning for another visit before the snow melts away.

Loaded kitchen and tons of towels/blankets. Relaxed place with the sound of the creek. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this unit two times, last summer and this summer. The location is great within Collins Lake and we love the sound of water in the back. We did noticed that supplies were better last year - we were not provided with dish washer detergent and not enough trash bags. The digital lock had an issue but it was fixed promptly.

Great location for any winter activity
This is our second time staying at the townhome. The house is clean and well stocked with needed items. Our previous stay was in November 2020.
We can see the second level carpet and kitchen floor have little beat up. It would be nice to be updated. This place feels very cozy and we like how convenient it is to the near by snow play areas. We will be back there again.

Overall great stay
We loved the location of this condo. Close to skiing and several local eating options. Comfortable layout and well stocked kitchen.
Didn’t give it five stars because we had the hot water run out on us after two normal showers and the blinds were really dusty and caused a lot of sneezing. We also had trouble with the TV in the living room. The other TVs in the condo worked just fine.

The perfect getaway!
We had such a great stay. The condo is fun, clean, and cozy. It’s close to everything we needed while also quiet. The garage was a bonus to keep our car snow-free and our gear dry. We’ll be back!

Great mountain getaway
Our stay here was fantastic! The property was very clean and quiet. There is a stream flowing out back that you can hear from the master bedroom, it was so relaxing. This property would be perfect for a bigger group than we had. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools/appliances you would need to make a nice meal. There was no coffee stocked but maybe that was an oversight as there was tea and hot cocoa there. The location was great for all the activities in the area. Overall, a great stay and I look forward to staying here again, maybe in the winter to enjoy different activities.

Birthday Weekend
It was my birthday weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the various outdoor activities.

Relaxing few days
We had a very relaxing feeling for the days at Mt Hood areas thanks to this accommodation. Layout is great for us. We maneuvered the stairs well. The trees and the sound of the creek on the back deck and the Master bedroom made it very special. The Colins Lake compound has much to offer as well (swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, hiking trails). The home was complete with extra pillows and beddings if needed. We cooked our food and had everything we needed. I think if we’re staying in Colins Lake, this unit for sure would be our clear choice.

Perfect location and very nice condo.
Plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable! Kitchen was very well stocked (better than most I have rented) we ate in almost every night and worked well. Overall was very happy with stay and would stay here again
We had a cool stream in the back which is a plus compared to other condos in the complex

Skiing in April
Property is close to SkiBowl, Timberline, and Meadows, as well as lots of hiking areas. Restaurants are mostly bar and grill, and don't stay open late, but groceries are easy driving distance.

Great Rental Close to Town
Great proximity to downtown Government Camp. Excellent area to access skiing (Hood, Ski Bowl, Meadows, etc). We had a great time playing shuffleboard in the garage. Tranquil location that backs up to trees and the creek, and a nice view of the mountains from the kitchen. The only reason for the 4 star rating is due to our inability to easily access the door at check in. The keys or knob/deadbolt need to be replaced as it took a few minutes of jangling the keys and turning the knob just right to get it to open. The garage door code wasn’t working either and we could’ve accessed the rental through the garage. However, the Vacasa rep I spoke with gets 5 stars in helping us get into the rental and for scheduling maintenance to reset the garage code for us the next day! Overall, it was a great stay.

Great Mt. Hood condo
Great condo, excellent condition, well appointed. Condo was very clean when we checked in. Only criticism is the lack of communication from the manager (Vacasa).

Wonderful stay for Snowboarding
We really enjoyed our stay and the accomodations were great. We boarded at the Meadows without knowing that there were other parks close by. We did night ski at the Snow bowl and it was amazing. I definately recommend this condo.

Great location, good layout, and heated garage with shuffleboard!
We were really pleased with this Collins Lake condo. As an end unit, it has more windows than the others and this unit is on the creek. We loved the headed garage for stowing and drying our ski gear--and for playing shuffleboard! The extra bunk nook was perfect for our son, giving both kids their own space. All in all, this is a great ski condo.

Good place to stay
Well kept end unit with additional window side to take advantage of the natural light. Very comfortable for our family of four. Great experience with Vacasa customer service while there.
The Good: This unit felt a bit more private as it backs to forest and the creek is right below unit. It is just steps to town which made it easy to go enjoy a meal or hit the store. There was a small hill close for kids to sled on. Able to park suburban with loaded ski rack in the garage.
The Not so Good: As mentioned in another review, the listing says two parking spots. You will have an inside garage spot, but finding a spot outside during snow season could get tricky. The space between this unit and the next is where the snow plow pushes all of the driveway snow. Your only option is to locate one of the outside parking locations. As we arrived late and there was fresh snow covering everything, it was difficult to determine where appropriate outside parking is located so you would not impact plowing.
Be aware, plowing took place at late hours or early morning time. If you are a light sleeper plan accordingly.
We were remote working, the internet went out. Vacasa instructions are to find the router and power down. In these units the internet access is distributed so you need to call Vacasa to work with onsite folks.
Overall, we would stay here again.

Perfect location
The property was right across the street from Ski Bowl and a really short walk to Government Camp. It was a good size condo for a family of four and had all the amenities we needed for a ski vacation. The view from the kitchen and the back windows is lovely. The drive to Ski Bowl and to Timberline was really short and easy. The condo had all the basics including a small supply of paper towels, spices, Saran Wrap and laundry soap. We were able to get all our groceries at the Government Camp General Store and the prices weren’t outrageous. We ordered dinner in a couple of times. Once from Huckleberry and once from Ratskeller. Ratskeller was so so. Huckleberry burgers, fries and shakes were really good. The steak sandwich is not recommended. The condo overall met all of our needs. The doors could use some WD40 and the top story flooring squeaks a lot. But, none of it made for a bad stay. Be prepared for the very helpful but extremely early snow plow that came through daily at 5 or 6am and double check the bedside alarms. Two of our rooms had a 6am alarm set that went off on our first morning after we had a late night of travel. That was a disappointing and startling beginning to our first day. The fireplace was nice, but didn’t work well. It had a minimal flame even at a high setting. The stove was also finicky and a couple of burners were hard to light. But, none of it was a hindrance to our stay. The garage has a heater which is really nice while doing laundry and there is plenty of space to leave ski gear to dry off for the next day. The cabin is a great base camp for ski adventures and we will definitely be back to Collins Lake Resort.
