No estuvimos a gusto en el alojamiento, nuestra cabaña estaba sucísima. Solicitamos que nos cambiaran las sábanas que estaban completamente sucias y con mal olor. La dueña con muy malas formas tan solo cambió las almohadas. Las toallas ni las utilizamos pues estaban usadas y llenas de manchas. Los sofás de la terraza estaban llenos de pelos de perros. El cuarto de baño está bajando las escaleras, no dentro del dormitorio. Una tarde interrumpieron la wifi. Todo está muy descuidado. Los dueños son extranjeros, no guatemaltecos, no se comunican para nada, solo se les ve interesados en el dinero y no en la comodidad de los clientes. No hablan español a pesar de tener su negocio en este precioso país. Me descontaron el pago de mi tarjeta sin avisarme previamente y sin preguntarme si prefería el pago en efectivo, llevándose una comisión del 5%. Habíamos estado antes en otros alojamientos guatemaltecos y fueron excelentes. Éste resultó nefasto a pesar de estar en un entorno maravilloso. Sin duda, no lo recomiendo para nada.

Great location, super close to the lake and the great Isla Verde restaurant. Cool lush setting, very nice garden and cool rest area with hammocks...

The place is beautiful. The view is great and the bedroom is cozy. The host is very nice and kind. She provided everything that we needed it.
Just not a good idea to attend during rainy days since there were many leaks out in the deck.

The hosts were welcoming, friendly and shared great information about the area. The home is clean, quiet and private with a great garden space. There is a covered outdoor seating area and a hammock available. We appreciated the cooking supplies available in the kitchen as restaurant's in this area are limited. The location is a quick walk from the boat launch to the house. We loved this place and will remember it fondly and recommend to others!

Nice location on Lake Atitlan with some breathtaking views. it was conveniently located near where our daughter was staying. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

It’s perfect for a gateway weekend, really calm and quiet.
Lots of insects inside the cabain, spiders, flys, ants and even we found a scorpion, for future stays makes sure there’s no insects like that or put any spray to kill them, also in your list you say you had toiletries and that wasn’t the case. We didn’t bring anything because we thought it was included since the listed said it had. Other than that it was great staying at the place.

A really lovely place with wonderful hosts in Lee & Elaine, for whom nothing is too much trouble. Easy to get to and from, with nice restaurants nearby and good hiking trails to nearby villages. A wonderful experience!

It’s a pretty place and property. Nice place to be at peace and with silence, which I love.
Wifi problems; listing says wifi in rooms but it wasn’t available in the cabin; weird; maybe since I complained about this, the hosts gave off vibes of this being not a big deal and feigned their kindness but, as a solo traveler, I was counting on the wifi to communicate with friends and family and to check up on work stuff.

It was a great place to stay ! a private area and we were never bothered by others. Kitchen was full equiped and also a "private" beach ! Elaine the host is great ! we were also able to pay via credit card !! WHEN VISITING SANTA CRUZ U MUST STAY THERE!!

The view of Lake Atitlán
There was a scorpion in my bed, broken glass on the floor, ants in the bathroom, spiders in the shower, no privacy in my room or bathroom because of the windows and lack of curtains, hostess was extremely unhelpful. She killed the scorpion but left it in my room, she wouldn't let me sleep anywhere else, there was only one restaurant in the area which was a very unpleasant experience, there were tree branches hitting my cabin all day and night, the toilet wouldn't take toilet paper, you had to throw it in the trash, and the mountain right behind my cabin was on fire. I stayed here two nights and got charged for only one.
