Design! Room and bathroom were modern and had beautiful views.

Shower soap, shampoo was great!

We had the most wonderful stay at Santulan! My partner and I were remote working for the week and the hosts organised a table for us in our room to work from, and made us feel very comfortable. The breakfasts were AMAZING! I would highly recommend them and return in the future.

We had a wonderful experience staying here and were blown away with how beautiful the property and architecture is. The staff and breakfast were also great. Wish we had more time to take advantage of the yoga classes they offer.

The road to the property was stressful and difficult. You must have 4 wheel drive to get to the property.

FACILITIES: The facilities were great from the bedrooms, the walking areas, kitchen/shared living room space - they were beautifully designed, very comfortable and clean. Plus the views from the bedrooms are incredible. BREAKFAST: The breakfast was delicious. STAFF: The staff was really helpful and attentive

This is not really a reflection on Santulan but rather the entire Valle de Guadualupe but the roads are pretty rough especially when it rains. Going anywhere in Valle, you will go through dirt roads and there were a lot of mud puddles, so driving anywhere was a bit stressful because we were worried, we were going to get stuck in the mud (and of course on our last night, we did! but luckily, we managed to get out). If I were to go again, I wouldn't go to Valle during the rainy season and/or drive a big SUV or Truck.

The design of this location is beautiful, very well integrated with the natural landscape. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We love the shared communal spaces -we used them all (yoga, meditation, drinks in the lounge). We also loved little Frankie (pug dog of staff). The staff were all very friendly. The rooms were great and the heated floors perfect for the chilly March desert weather.

This isn't specific to the hotel, but the area - the roads! They are always rough roads, but with the recent weather the cracks were deeper than usual and there were pools of water that were disconcerting to drive through.

no jacuzzi or pool. roads almost inaccessible unless you have a 4 wheel drive and high clearance
