The property is looking a little tired and would benefit from a bit of an upgrade to match its “luxury” listing.
We had a very enjoyable 2 weeks at the property, but the beds, bathrooms, sofas and carpets could do with some upgrading as they are starting to let down the luxury listing.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Gleneagles. The property was spacious, clean and exactly as described. Excellent location for exploring the wonderful local area and perfect for using the facilities at Gleneagles Hotel. We had a dog with us and the property was excellent for this with a large kitchen and utility room. We saw lovely wildlife in the garden including deer, squirrels and rabbits. We look forward to returning:

Great property, beautiful location. Ideal for a long overdue family get-together. The little welcome pack was really helpful but possibly could have been local unprocessed produce and perhaps having tools for the BBQ and not having to bring our own charcoal would have been useful. However these are small things and I don't think we could have had a better couple of days away.

Unbelievable house
What a weekend we had. We couldn't believe the house was on the grounds of Gleneagles hotel itself so that alone was a nice surprise but the house itself was incredible. So big and spacious and super clean. Loved how quiet it was, no annoying neighbors. We had a garden picnic and it was so enjoyable and no one to bother us. We will be back

Peaceful setting
The area the house is in was peaceful, but, the hotel amenities were only 200 yards away. There were 6 of us staying for a friend's 60th. The house is very spacious. Maybe I just didn't see it, but a Bluetooth speaker would have been useful, fortunately I brought one with me!

Property in great condition. Sizeable rooms. A massive lounge area and fully functional kitchen with utility room. Ample bedroom sizes.
Kids loved the den area so they could chill without the adults. Good idea to have sky installed as some self catering only have basic tv for those rainy days
Great location. One minute walk to Gleneagles. Lots of great activities nearby. Shops five minute drive away.
Dining area big enough for 10-12 people and barbecue for outdoor eating

Pleasant stay
House lovely but a bit isolated unless you into golf with the coast being an hour away in car at least in any direction. Highchair broken but was replaced immediately. My only real gripe would be the fact that although there’s a drier there is nowhere else to dry washing, no clothes maid or washing line and a couple more TVs in bedrooms would be ideal. Otherwise a pleasant stay was had by all, especially my husband and son who were bowled over by the golf course and hotel

Lovely large house in fabulous location. Although we felt the house was a bit tired in parts especially outside but realise it was built in the 70s. Washing machine is old and needs replacing. Shower curtain in master bedroom en-suite mouldy/mildew so we bought a cleaner for it. But aside from that - it’s a great place to stay. Comfortable and ideal location. Gleneagles hotel just over the road with lovely gardens and use of facilities- cycling, pitch and putt etc. We would definitely return again!

60th Birthday Break
The location or the property was excellent. The property was perfect for our requirements although some of the house was beginning to look a bit tired, we had no issues with anything, but perhaps with being able to sleep 10, perhaps outside furniture to reflect that would be good, as there were 8 of us and only 6 chairs? But small things did not detract from a great break, and with Sky sports for the live golf was an added bonus.
