Overall a great place to stay and the lake is beautiful! The layout of the house wasn't my favorite but we made it work for our family!

We all had a great time. Went to a few restaurants by boat on the lake and everyone we met was nice.

Lovely spot for a multi-generational family vacation. Gorgeous sunrise/sunset views over the lake. Easy access to nearby restaurants/attractions. House was well equipped and matched description provided by hosts. Hosts were responsive, communicative, and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

This experience was fantastic! Our family was celebrating my parent's 50th Anniversary. Some of us came from New York and some from Wisconsin so this was a perfect half-way spot to meet up. Lisa & Ed were great about everything, and were extra attentive when we told them about a minor issue (that didn't impact our stay negatively at all). I would definitely go back there if I have the chance!

We had a great time at this property. It is centrally located for all 12 of us that stayed. It was nice that all 6 of the cousins got to visit before college and work. Great location and amenities!

Listing says it sleeps 12 but not enough beds or bedding for 12. For a home advertised as luxury it was missing several basic amenities like cable TV(missed NBA playoff games, soap, Kleenex, detergent, coffee, etc. generally found in cheap hotel rooms. The WiFi internet was disconnected at midnight the day of departure making plane travel confirmations difficult. We would not stay here again.

First of all Lisa was amazing to work with. My family and I wanted a last minute get away for the weekend and we couldn’t find anything. Finally I came across this lake house and within 24 hours we were booked and ready to go. Lisa had the place ready for us and everything was perfect. All 4 of my kids loved it, as well as my husband, mom and sister. We only stayed 2 nights and we wish it could of been longer. The scenery was perfect, the sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. The tiki bar was my daughters favorite place to play. And my sons loved playing darts. While my husband fished and had a small fire, he didn’t catch anything but we did enjoy sitting outside trying (even though it was only 50degrees). The pictures do not do this place justice. Plenty of kitchen items, plenty of beds, blankets, sitting area and space. We never felt like we were on top of each other. I would highly recommend this house to anyone! Thanks again Lisa!

We stayed at Ed and Lisa's lake house between Christmas and New Years. We had plans to stay in another rental in Columbus during this time but our plans had to be suddenly modified to multiple issues that were encountered. Fortunately Lisa was able to accommodate us on very short notice. House was nice, clean, and quiet. Thanks again Lisa for the use of your house.

The house is absolutely beautiful. Rooms are well furnished. Lot's of things to do (Tiki bar, dart board, games, puzzles, DVDs). There were a couple items that caused issues: bedroom over garage unusable due to cold. Baseboard heat would not come on (no instructions on how to use) and heater in downstairs closet couldn't keep up with cold. I rented it because of the number of bedrooms so this did cause issues. Kitchen was well stocked except for a few items: no dish towels or dishrags; Cookware in kitchen was beat! Teflon bubbled and coming off pans so had to bring pans from home to use; and had a really hard time keeping the oven at temperature to bake and cook turkey for our Thanksgiving meal. It did all turn out well just had to keep checking temperature. Master bedroom was gorgeous! Jacuzzi tub was wonderful but shower drained so slowly it almost overflowed. Mattress on bed was very firm (probably on purpose but not what we prefer). Beds in other rooms seemed fine. Nice big area on first floor to entertain (living room, kitchen, dining room all in one. Sunroom was small but very cozy. Tiki bar was a blast! We did a beer tasting and it couldn't have gone better. In living room: Remote batteries for TV in living room were dying so once we figured out how to use the system, the remote wouldn't work. We exchanged batteries with a remote upstairs. Instructions on how to use the TV system in the living room would have been nice. The recliner chair had a broken handle so very hard to get open and closed but couch recliners both worked perfectly. All in all, nice stay but could have been perfect if issues above had been corrected prior. I still appreciate Ed & Lisa sharing their place with us!

This place is so perfect for a group! We did a bachelorette party with 11 girls & we fit perfectly. Loved the views & the house.

This house was extremely clean and the hosts are excellent to communicate with. Thank you for renting out your gorgeous house. We were honored to stay in this house and felt like royalty! We rented the pontoon boat twice. Our captain drove to the rental place, left our vehicle there , and then drove the boat right to the house to pick up our entire crew!!! The fact that you can drive the pontoon right up to the house and dock is amazing. St. Mary, Ohio is beautiful and everyone is extremely friendly. I am so glad that this house showed up on Vrbo because this house is a gem! The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. The house has the perfect lay out to capture this beautiful lake. You can't have a better floor plan than this. The round windows especially made us feel like we had a view on a boat the entire time. None of us wanted to leave. The sunroom and Tiki bar were over the top to have inside the house. All of us enjoyed playing darts and enjoying the spectacular views inside this house. I highly recommend staying at this house. The views are priceless! This house is way prettier than the pictures shown. None of us had heard of this town, but now all of our friends and family what to come to St. Marys and experience what we did. The memories that we had here will last forever! Thank you.

The property was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone and everything. Very clean and accommodating.

All was fine, nice house but we did not realize until we got there that the lake has a toxic algae problem, hence the boating activities we had planned were shelved. Ton of bugs, which nobody can control obviously, but they need to add getting rid of the dead piles of bugs on the outside porch as part of the cleaning regimin. It smelled like rotten flesh going into and out of the back porch door from the pile there I suspect.

I could not have picked a better house to rent for our short getaway to a lake. The outside area and view are just awesome! I never wanted to leave the comfortable and peaceful deck. Sunsets, some wildlife and boats occasionally going by in addition to fabulous sunsets made the outside space incredible. Inside was just as inviting. The tiki bar is very cool and the attached sunroom is so cozy. The family room, kitchen and bedrooms are all a great size and most importantly, CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! There is nothing worse than a dirty rental home and even the carpet upstairs and on the steps was clean and in great shape. It actually looked brand new. We had our 8 kids with us, including our 1.5 year old, who always play on the floor so I would have noticed dirty floors quickly. Not here! Also, Ed and Lisa are very thoughtful in the things they have included to make your stay more pleasant. Everything you need for day to day like dish soap, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, paper towels, etc is all there. I didn't actually cook while we stayed there but the kitchen seemed well stocked including some spices, sugar, etc. Again little day to day items that are so appreciated. Finally, when I asked Ed and Lisa about reserving a boat and for restaurant recommendations, they were very prompt in replying and had great recommendations! Overall, outstanding experience and we've stayed in may VRBOs. This one tops the list. Great hosts, great property and great house! We would be so happy to go back!

The house was beautiful, plenty of space with great views of the lake. The town parks were very clean and provided lots of fun activities. The only downside was not being able to use the lake because of the algae.
