This property had lots of positive attributes:
- Nicely updated
- Friendly property manager
- Convenient location, though, I would recommend walking just a bit north if you’re looking for a good beach close by. The one directly in front of this place wasn’t quite as good.
- Extremely clean
- Parking provided
It was our first trip to Hawaii and we loved it. We knew parking was space on the island but didn’t realize just how bad it is. Fortunately, this location has an underground parking garage with an elevator that you can conveniently take up to the floor of your room.

What a gorgeous place. So well appointed….especially the kitchen. The property manager was also excellent. The apartment was so clean and the view was incredibly.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo at the Waikiki Shore was perfect. The finishings are elegant and of very high quality - the pictures do not do the place justice. There are floor to ceiling sliding glass doors surrounding the condo that open to a comfortable balcony and surrounding views. There are lovely touches everywhere, like the beach equipment, the day bags, and the towels. The condo is centrally located and there are many dining and shopping options around. And the beach is right behind the condo. All in all, a great experience.

Someone on the 10th floor hung a wet, sandy towel on their balcony and it started dripping onto our balcony. We contacted Captain Cook and they dealt with it right away.

Very pleased with the Condo and the location. Plenty of room for 5. Just about everything within walking distance. Beach was fabulous. Would stay here again. Lots of traffic to reach the location from the airport.

I have never loved a rental more than I loved this place. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. Walking in upon check-in (which was a great process and so nice to have a person to show us around when getting in) to big open walls of windows was amazing and set the stage for a wonderful 4 nights. It is rare for me to be content spending time in a rental, but this place was a destination itself. We have 4 kids and actually really enjoyed the smaller beach area out front as there were other people there but it never felt crowded like further down Waikiki beach feels. Our kids were able to play catch with a football any time they wanted without trouble. Sunset view was perfect from the balcony and also loved the great view of the city at night. Cannot rave about this rental more.

The place was immaculate. It was exactly as shown. Very high end. Very clean. Designed for comfort. The best views.
Paul was so very nice and met us at arrival. We were so exhausted from flight delays and lack of sleep. We truly didn't appreciate the overall grandness of the place and the views until after a good night's sleep.
This place is PERFECT! Besides the interior comforts and attention to detail. The location, the views cant be beat!
There is no other place I would stay, ever!

Even with the construction being done, I have to say this is one of the nicest condos we have ever stayed in if not the nicest. It was outfitted with everything you could possibly think of and was just absolutely right on trend in terms of design. Highly recommend.

Our stay was great, we had trouble with the shower hose and oven not working. Paul was able to fix the shower right away. The stove needs a service call. Paul was great checking us in. The condo was amazing. Thank you all, we had a great time. Mahalo.

We loved staying at this well equipped and beautiful condo. The owners have thought of anything and everything you could need. the accommodations were top notch and you are located right on the beach. Wonderful views. We would stay here again! Just absolutely lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The property more than lived up to our expectations--very stylish and all of the finishes were impressive and made us feel at home. The location is amazing--we were able to walk to a lot, and the very convenient parking also made it easy for us to have a rental car to explore Oahu. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the rental property. It was way more than expected. High end appliances, furniture and fixtures, and everything you would possibly need to feel at home. The view is stunning and extremely close to all the restaurants, shopping and is right on the beach. The teriyaki steak place at the bottom of the building was outstanding, and there was also a really good smoothie place and an ice cream shop. Several ABC stores within walking distance. Don’t miss the Ruby Mazur(designer of the famous Rolling Stones tongue) gallery right down the road if you are a music fan. That place is amazing and Ruby’s son gave us a demonstration of how the paintings come to life with blacklight. Starbucks is right next door in another building and Fort Derussy Park on the other side. Parking is right across the street which is a really nice amenity given the cost of parking around Waikiki. Just a really well thought out rental property. Will definitely return one of these days.

We enjoyed using the kitchen every night for cooking dinner- with the fantastic views and furnishings, we found it impossible to drag ourselves away for a crowded, noisy restaurant. We absolutely LOVED this air bnb. It was very clean, had everything we needed, comfortable for a family of 5, but the best part were the views. Way more beautiful than the pictures. The whole side wall were glass doors that you could open completely. It had the perfect center view of the sunset from the comfortable couch. On the right hand side you had the view of the city. Steps away from Waikiki beach, restaurant and shopping. If you want relaxation and nature- this is it. If you want shopping and good drinks- it’s here too. Paul was oh host and he was incredible. Gave us some good tips and info since this as our fist time. We fell in love and are definitely coming back to this exact place.

This is, beyond a doubt, the nicest and most beautifully appointed vacation property/condo/home my family has EVER stayed in. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is top notch and 1st class... from the decor, to the appliances, bedding, etc. It was obvious to us that the owners take great pride in their condo, as this is (more than likely) a secondary vacation home, rather than a simple gut-n-rehab investment property to them. I simply cannot express is words how satisfied we were with the location and creature comforts that this unit provided. Also, the views were ASTOUNDING, having unobstructed visual line-of-sight to the beach, urban city and the surrounding mountains. This condo also has the absolute BEST views of the Hilton fireworks on Friday night (BIG bonus)! Our only real complaint was that we had to wait 30 minutes for the 'property manager' to show up to let us in the unit. He was friendly enough and apologetic when he showed, but still, after coordinating with him per the check-in instructions, I fully expected him to be there upon our arrival. None-the-less, it was a fantastic experience and we WILL stay here again for our Hawaii trip next year! Highly recommend, and thanks to the owners and Captain Cook for letting us stay at this magnificent property!

I spent a long time looking at different VRBO options before booking this place. Based on the pictures, I had high expectations... not only were those expectations met, but they were far exceeded. Everything is like brand new. The intior decor is warm and inviting. The craftsmanship is stellar - to the point that my father could not stop raving about it. The beds and pillows were so comfortable my mom had to see what brand it all was so she could buy it for home! The kitchen had all the utensils, appliances, glassware, etc that we could have asked for. The view was spectacular. The location PERFECT. Right on the beach and just two blocks from all the action. The check in / check out process was super easy. I HIGHLY recommend!

There were only 2 elevators for the building and one was not functioning. It made taking the elevator at times difficult There were 4 of us ( 2 couples). It would have been nice to have 4 sets of keys instead of just two. We are very independent. Overall We would recommend it.

I cannot say enough about this condo #818 in Waikiki Shores. Jaw dropping views, very high end appliances. Everything you see in the photos is even better in person. Highly recommend, and I am so glad I chose this condo over the others. **Only note to others is get your luggage downstairs well before 11 am when every one else is trying to do the same with one elevator.

Let me commence by stating I rarely complete reviews, however in this circumstance , a very positive review is warranted.The renovation of the apartment is to an extremely high standard and is faultless. Being at the end of the complex you get a magnificent 270 degree views of the ocean, the parklands and the mountains.Being on the 8th floor, you retain a realistic view. Whether its day or night time, looking outside at there is always something happening, boats, surfers, aircraft or walking parades of holiday makers.Location is unmatched, walking distance to all the major shops, restaurants, bars, and attractions.If you think the pictures look great, being inside this oasis, the view is even better.

Property is excellent. Only issue was our mis-impression as to access to Waikiki beach. thought we could get there by board walk along couple hotels but it was closed off and had to walk inland a bit to get to it. Waikiki beach is superior to beach toward the Hilton.

Our youngest son has special needs which can make travel difficult. This was honestly our best experience yet (and we take Franky everywhere) as this place is really set up as a home with everything you could need. We loved the beach access right down the elevator and there were also chair rentals available, water toys and great little market and food stands availbale.

This was honestly our best experience yet (and we take Franky everywhere) as this place is really set up as a home with everything you could need. We loved the beach access right down the elevator and there were also chair rentals available, water toys and great little market and food stands availbale.We loved everything about it so much we are convinced we could be friends with the owners!Very much looking forward to our next stay!Aloha,McD Family

Property was very convenient and very clean; bathroom and showers are spectacular and love the added bidets. Only criticism was the number of remotes for the TV which we could not figure out how to use. Instructions would have been very helpful
