Can’t say enough about this VRBO and the amazing property manager, Mike! The location to most anything is perfect. 20 minute walk to the beach, splash pad, kids playground, beach bars and restaurants. Publix is just a quick drive or walk. The house has everything you’d need from kids sand toys, floaties, a wagon to haul it all to the beach. There are more beach towels than you’ll ever need. The kitchen is set up with everything you need for cooking and barbecue is a big plus for us. We loved this place so much we’ve booked it again for next year!

We have stayed at 8 VRBO properties in the last 3 years. We found the property fully exceeded our expectations. Perfect location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, groceries, fully stocked with our needs. Great grill used it several times. Pool felt private with fence. Have nothing contrary to post. Lots of TVs… nice neighborhood!

Our stay at Tropical Getaway was everything we had hoped it would be. I cannot say enough about Mike and the manner in which he communicates and responds. If I could have rated his attentiveness above 5 stars, I would have. Mike was always responsive to the little things that come up when planning a trip, but he went above and beyond when we ran into car troubles during our stay. He was invariably helpful, responsive and easy to work with.
The facility itself was very comfortable for our family of 5, and the 'little things' really make a difference. The supply of spices, cooking needs, laundry detergent, beach supplies, etc... really helped keep us from needing to scramble for the daily needs of traveling with kids. The decor was very cute, the pool and backyard is quite well maintained, and the quiet neighborhood made for a very peaceful stay.
I would highlight that the fold-out bed in the third bedroom is a small and mediocre pull-out in a small room. It was perfectly fine for our 14yo son (which is what we anticipated), but I would not be apt to plan on using that space for adults or multiple individuals.
All in all, we left wishing we had the time and resources to return to the house each year! I would wholeheartedly recommend this property for a beach stay in SE FL.

We were really pleased with the rental property and would recommend this one to friends. You will need a car to get to all of the attractions. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the grounds well manicured. The inside was inviting and stocked with multiple amenities. My only suggestion would be to organize the kitchen better, all of the glasses, dishes, pots and bowls were mixed throughout the cabinets.

The property was as described, clean and the kitchen well stocked with cooking essentials. It’s a really quick and easy drive to the beach and also convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and a pharmacy. The outdoor area is nice but unfortunately the pool heater was broken during our stay and wasn’t able to be fixed in time for us to enjoy. Mike was very quick to respond to all communication throughout our stay.

We had a GREAT time at this location. The house was perfect. The pool was perfect. The nearby beach was perfect. The VRBO owner was very easy to communicate with and was a pleasure to deal with. We are a return customer and plan to be one again.

Wonderful and everything you could need
Everything was great. House comes with everything you need for cooking, lounging by the pool or hanging out at the beach with young kids. The drive to the beach is very short and parking is easy. The property is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood and close to pretty much everything, including restaurants and a grocery store. Mike was great to deal with and went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend to families traveling with kids.

Have had fantastic weeks in this super cozy house. Everything was really great! The house is fresh. The pool was used extensively. The house is located in a quiet cozy area and also close to grocery store and beach. Definitely possible to walk, but we were a bit lazy and took the car. Mike was truly a perfect host. Always helpful with any questions and concerns we had. We can highly recommend staying in this charming and super cozy house

Wonderful to have a pool to ourselves. The beach had seaweed this time of year which was a bummer but we still went in. We did feel a little bit of political tension. We are a mixed couple with multiracial kids. We did have one negative experience but everyone else was very very friendly. Publix supermarket had everything we needed.
Mike was incredible! One of the blinds got stuck and he came right over to fix it. He sent us information about things that we would like to do in the area. We will definitely want to come again. Best kept secret, Pompano beach Gem!

The house & landscaping are very well maintained and gorgeous. The property is in walking/biking distance to a Publix , many restaurants and a brewery. Also a short drive to surrounding beaches and fishing charters. My family enjoyed fishing from the Pompano Pier most mornings. We did have some rainy afternoons and Mike sent us some suggestions. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet family vacation. We will be back-thank you Mike.

Everything we needed and more!
This property was wonderful! Upon arrival the house both appeared clean and smelled clean. It was stocked with all necessary kitchen items to cook meals and was an easy walk to the beach! There were also beach chairs and a cooler for us to bring with us to the beach daily. The pool is perfect for the times you want to stay put and hang out. And Mike was wonderful and always available if ever needed. I honestly cant say anything bad about the property!

It’s really an Oasis
We are a family of four, including our 5-year and 16-month old daughters. We had a fantastic time and Mike went the extra mile and beyond to accomodate our needs and those of our girls. The house is in super good shape, with all you may need to make it your home, with a great layout and at a wonderful location to enjoy a great vacation. The pool was fantastic. Perfect temperature and exposure to the sun. Our 5-yesr old says she wants to return to Pompano nut she wants is to fo to the same house! Can’t wait to go back!
