Best service, attention to detail and the most welcoming staff we have experienced in South Africa. Loved the food and the absolute joy on chef Tuli's face, when describing the process and cook of the evening meals.

The weather was cold, just a bit unusual as it rained the first day. However the rest of the stay was sunny with beautiful views on the lake and mountains.

absolutely amazing stay, beautiful rooms, with wood fires that were lit for you, delicious dinner with pre drinks first and then the menu explained in full detail, warm and cosy and the breakfast was next level delicious.. cannot wait to go back. best stay

Location is lovely and peaceful. The staff were fantastic, especially Caster. The food and the chef chatting to us each night about the meals, makes the stay very special and indulgent. Loved the wine cellar and all the fire places.

The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

The road out to Cleopatra was really bad. Definitely not good for small cars.

Absolutely incredible stay. The property is wonderfully furnished, located right on the river and 5mins drive from the spectacular Highmoor Nature Reserve. The scenery is spectacular!

The views were spectacular, house was perfect and had everything you needed! So clean! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Both hosts were friendly and welcoming!

We had the most incredible night away at Cleopatra! The attention to detail and helpful staff make the stay even more enjoyable. The highlight was the incredible food experience! Thank you so much. We will be back.

Location, being unplugged from reality. The food is the main reason you would visit this place...and oh boy do they deliver!!!

No air-conditioned rooms, mild inconvenience as it wasnt needed for the vast majority of our trip.

Rooms are gorgeous, with a comfortable evening fire lit by the staff as you dine. Food was amazing. Truly, nothing to fault.
