Good location.

The photos of the room my fiancée and I booked did not accurately represent the actual room we received. Additionally, the dual washer and dryer in our hotel room failed to dry our clothes properly, so we approached the receptionist for assistance, only to be directed to a dryer on the 3rd floor. After running my clothes through that dryer, they emerged not only soaked but also stained—my white items turned dark grey and brown. When we showed the stained clothes to the receptionist, they refused to take any responsibility for the damage, leaving us extremely dissatisfied and $200 worth of ruined clothes. Overall, we were very disappointed with how our concerns were handled.

cleanliness, location and staff

we had 2 rooms, in one it was difficult to get in shower without leaving bathroom door open but you can’t have it all - there was a dishwasher and washing machine to use.

The apartment was well located not far from Paddington station with the fast rail from Heathrow. Bayswater and Queensway underground stations were a short walk away with the District and Circle lines as well as the Central line giving access to all of Londons tourist sites. Shops restaurants and a supermarket were nearby for anything needed if self catering in the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped My apartment was at the rear and it was spacious and very quiet. There was also a lift to the upper floors which was very welcome. Overall a very pleasant stay

I stayed for a week and would have appreciated a dry towel and the floor cleaned during my stay.

Location is great. Value for money could also be - but there were issues.

The place was not clean. Not passably. Windows were not cleaned several years. Pigeon… feces… on the windowsill - disgusting to open. Peanut from some other guests on kitchen table. Bathroom glass door with stains from something… do not know what. Room textile (decorative pillows) full of stains. Curtain dirty and torn. I do not know - the place looks quite recently remodeled, has a good position - could be pretty decent and even more expensive - why such neglect? Those are all things the could be done in a days work… Well not coming back to check, sorry

The host, which met us initially was very polite. We cam early and he agreed to take our luggage and bring it to the room when it is cleaned/prepared. No problems there and this was a nice gesture. We also liked the location, Kensington is such a lovely part of London. It is full of stores, restaurants and places to have fun, but at the same time it is not as crazy/crowded as come of the central parts of the city. The connections to the tube were very close as well.

There were a few things which really disappointed us. Mainly that the bed was right under the window, which in turn has a very bad insulation and when you lie down you could feel air draft on your head. I had to put some pillows and blankets to try and counter this a bit. Also, we reported the problem to the reception, there was another employee this time, a younger man, who was simply not interested in assisting in any way. So we had to endure for the duration of our stay. Also, there were ants in the room. Not a whole infestation, but every time we left some food unattended, we would find them around it. The room was small, tv was small, door which closed the bathroom from the main room made awful sounds, walls are paper thin so you can hear pretty much everything your neighbours are doing and the main drain on the shower was partially blocked. All in all, we tried to spend as little time in the room as possible. It was not pleasant, especially for the price.

Posizione vicina alla metro, ottimi collegamenti, a 2 passi da Portobello rd. Quartiere tranquillo ma vicino a negozi e ristoranti. Non abbiamo sentito troppo rumore e abbiamo riposato bene. Qualche spiffero dalle finestre ma il riscaldamento funzionava bene. Molto utile il deposito bagagli.

Camera un po’ piccolina (soprattutto il bagno) ma non è stato un grosso problema per noi.

Very clean, cosy, and well situated - close to restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and different tube stations, but still super quiet. The owners and staff are very kind. Umbrellas are offered at the reception- very useful :)

Just an idea to make it perfect: It would be nice to have dishwasher tabs, and necessities like salt and oil in the kitchen.
