I found this hotel to be the nicest one on booking.com, so I decided to stay here. The hotel and facilities look just as nice as they do in the photos.

I booked this hotel on early Feb and paid 21,177 ( Thai baht or around 88,000 yen ) on February 14th, but when I arrived on February 23rd, the staff couldn't find my reservation. Even though I showed them my confirmation and proof of payment, they still seemed confused. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I decided to go out for dinner and come back later. When I returned, there was a new shift of staff so I have to wait a bit again, and they showed me to a room on third floor. However, when we entered, it smelled like gas and didn't have a toilet. They said the toilet was across the hall, but after some confusion, we realized it wasn't a guest room but a private dinner room!!! We complained at the lobby and asked who arranged this for us, but nobody had an answer. Eventually, they took us to the correct room, but it wasn't ready yet, so we had to wait again. We asked for a partly refund due to the disappointment, but the staff couldn't understand English well enough to help us. When we contacted booking.com later, they said they couldn't assist us either. Overall, it was a bad experience, even though the hotel and staff were nice in the typical Japanese style

Pas op voor wat je bestelt! Wij hebben voor 1 nacht betaald, waar je voor meerdere nachten met meerdere personen in een super luxe hotel kan verblijven. De foto’s op de website zijn voor speciale kamers en stelletjes. De familiekamers zijn ZEER basic. Het is dat we hebben genoten van het zeer vriendelijk personeel en de onsen. Maar dat was het ook. We konden ‘s avonds niet eten in het hotel. Moesten het dorp in waar bijna alles dicht was. Slaapmatjes op de grond waren dun. We hadden hoge verwachten aan de hand van de reviews en het exorbitante bedrag en het kwam helemaal niet uit. We hadden gewone bedden verwacht, bad op het balkon en kunnen reserveren voor avond eten. Koelkast deed het niet en uit de douche kwam een super klein straaltje waardoor je niet kon douchen. Ontbijt was redelijk. Genoeg keuze. Ook hier was het personeel super vriendelijk.

Zie hierboven. Oh en toen we op dakterras waren mochten we niet in de iglo’s kijken om te beslissen of we er wat wilden drinken. Als het ons beviel hadden we dat natuurlijk gedaan! Al met al weer een tegenvaller.

The staff at the ryokan make the atmosphere exceptional! It is a fantastic place, highly recommend!

Everything was great

Great place, great staff. Traditional place. Wonderful breakfast. They provided free one-way transportation to Snow Monkey Park. Close to the train station.

everything very well planned and managed. Option to book private Onsen was great. Staff is superb. And make sure that you book with dinner included in your booking as the dinner is just so good and an experience you won’t forget.

Everything was great. I think would be better if even the lounge is accessible to all guests.

Food provided was excellent, staff was attentive and friendly, and the in room onsen was incredible

Loved everything. The staff were great, even with limited English, it was no struggle to communicate. It was an easy process to check in. Owner was great and lovely to meet her, and the rest of the staff as well. Nothing bad to say. I fully recommend the experience. Room, Food, Facilities were amazing. Loved the sauna and onsen
