Very nice clean guesthouse in a great location, very clean and the staff were very friendly. Shop right next door.

The beds were a little hard and the pillow was low which hurt my back but the bed was very clean

A fantastic experience! I ended up staying for 5 nights here. The owner went well beyond requirements to make sure my stay was a good one. Very sweet and helpful despite not speaking much English (and my Korean being crap). The place is very clean and comfortable, good AC, good common area, excellent breakfast and very friendly and laid- back in general. I prefer to stay in places frequented more by local tourists than international ones and this place was perfect in that sense. No boring and hackneyed backpacking stories, just good insight into Korean culture from other guests. I've been lucky enough to be able to explore much of Asia at a snail's pace and this hostel was a top experience for me. Thanks for your kindness and hospitality! As for the town, there are some great things to see, most of all the. National Museum, the park with the tombs and the temple outside town. Also a great small 2 building museum in a park near the hostel which goes into detail on how the tombs were built. The hanok part of town I found a bit disappointing, mainly due to overcrowding and a theme park like feel to it- I much preferred the one in Jeonju to Gyeongju but enjoyed Gyeongju overall and, obviously, the guest house!

Nothing, some may be put off by the group showers but I didn't care about it.

Good location, plenty of shops/restaurants close by. Breakfast provided and rooms were very spacious. Cutest dog, Cotton candy also made our stay sooo worthwhile!!

Not much of a lounging common area, only dining areas joined on to kitchen. My friend and I requested to change room via messenger while staying at the property but didn’t receive a response, communication could have been better.

it was a bit cold. Unsure if there was a curfew but the 4 bed female dorm was near the communal area so a bit noisy.

Really comfy beds, everything was very clean (shower, bathroom, dorm, common area etc), the lady running the place is very nice and her little dog was an extra treat as well! Great to have eggs available for breakfast.

Convenient location and a nice, quiet stay.

The landlady was so nice to us! She provided everything we needed and even gave us nice recommendations on what to do, where to go and how to get to places... Breakfast was also really nice, they provided juice, coffee and tea, cream soup, toasts with strawberry jam and eggs.

The dorms could have more equipment such as personal light, curtains and a little shelf for personal belongings. Otherwise, very confortable bedding.

I really liked the hostel, it was clean and it had everything that a traveler needs: towel, shampoo, etc. There is a very nice hang out area and a big kitchen. The location is simply perfect.

The bathroom is shared - basically there are 4 showers in the bathroom, which can be used by more people. I'd install some kind of curtains to make some privacy for people. Payment on site can be made by cash only - this should be shared beforehand, as people might want to pay for the accommodation in advance. The reception doesn't work non-stop: the owner was sometimes there, sometimes not. The hours of operation should be defined, as I needed to wait for 1 hour to give something to the owner.

Perfect, lovely, clean and quiet

The Hostel was nice and the position was really central. Overall it was super clean and well organized. However it did not strike me as the type of hostel to socialize and find people in, so not the best for solo travelers

The owners don't really speak english so we struggled to understand each others. Furthermore I did not find any other guest that could speak english and/or wanted to socialize. Perhaps Gyeongu is too small of a place for that

such an amazing place! the hostel is right in the city center, next to stores, restaurants, supermarkets and also the traditional sites and the bus stop. the owners are incredibly friendly and have a lovely little dog too! the rooms and bathrooms are clean.
