Not much to not like, but for me the pillows was uncomfortable and maybe a little far from sites to visit.

the location was good as were the facilities and staff were helpful. I booked a suite and it was gorgeous and reasonably priced. When I left I realised I forgot my sunglasses and AirPods and although the hotel said that they were unable to post the items outside Istanbul (I was going to cover costs) they were helpful in trying to work out a way that I could arrange to have the items collected by courier.

The only things that I would complain about is that when I extended my stay the reception kept calling the room demanding that I make the extra payment immediately even though I had already paid for that night so payment was not actually due until the following day. I was recovering from surgery and unable to walk so to get down to reception was not easy. I said I would pay when I passed reception later that day but they didn’t accept that and insisted on payment there and then. I also received a phone call on the day I was originally supposed to check out regarding charges to the room for damages. I explained that I hadn’t checked out and nobody had been to my room to check for damages (there were none). I never heard back about that so I assume it was a mistake.

Honestly, they were cooperative. A beautiful and comfortable stay. The staff is really distinguished, especially Mr. Kadriye Yavru 🌹 Really a peak in ethics and cooperation. We will stay at this hotel again

Muhammet on our floor was incredibly friendly and really great. He did an exceptional job at making our rooms tidy and baby friendly and some great towel art too.

our door key wouldn’t work until the third or fourth try. we are not sure why this was but we were told this would be an issue at check in. the property is quite far from city centre so we had to take a taxi everywhere.

Almost everything was great. Especially the pool and spa facilities all factored into the price.

If I had to grumble there were 2 small issues. 1 is the location, which is not awfully central but can be reached with 2 tram rides. 2, the breakfast was expensive.

The hotel is clean, iron, and cleaning services are good, but the room services are very poor, the restaurant is bad, and the services after the evening are not good, and it is not worth this value… I booked a stay with breakfast, and after I returned, the breakfast was not good.... I canceled the breakfast from the first day, and the money was not returned to me until now, and I will contact the hotel management

Lovely delicious breakfasts, helpful staff, amazing cleanliness, very well cleaned in the room (staff Kandilik Ursilfide). Lovely bathroom and very clean with expensive materials and fixtures. Very comfortable mattress, pillows, beautiful textiles in the room. I was very pleased when they brought fruit as a compliment. It was also very nice to receive a welcome letter and wonderful sweets.Would like to recommend and want to come back.

A very well maintained hotel with five star amenities. the home is clean throughout and the staff are extremely polite, helpful and accommodating. The hotel staff speak fluent english and we had a very comfortable stay. There are balconies across all floors to accommodate smoking which is hard to find in other hotels. The rooms are so clean and the breakfast variety will suit all. Overall, really impressed.

You will need a taxi if you are not a local BUT the hotel has a taxi rank and finding a taxi is so easy. Taxi is the biggest problem in Istanbul but with Lionel Hotel does not have this problem. You get a taxi every minute of the day.

It’s by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The most amazing thing that I liked about the hotel are the staff and their hospitality and generosity.
