Right in the heart of the city.great staff very clean.would return

The staff were exceptional; friendly, and helpful. The location is absolutely superb; right in the middle of the Merchant City. The bar is utterly charming. I only had the continental breakfast and this was good. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was also very clean.

The bathroom could be modernised, it was quite worn. The dispensers in the shower were nearly empty and not labelled so I didn’t know what they were.

Continental breakfast was nice, simple but good choice and the coffee was lovely! Well set out and very clean.

There were a lot of noisey people outside in the streets late at night, but with the central location this was to be expected. My only real complaint would have to be that I was promised a complimentary bloody mary with my breakfast, only to be denied it because they didn't have a license to serve alcohol until 12! That was disappointing.

It's maybe one of best places to stay in Glasgow ,it was my 3rd time staying here, great food, great staff, great choice of drinks, great breakfast. Friendly, comfortable and clean. Only 15 mins from Glasgow Green, 5 mins from Glasgow Queens street station. Late checkout at noon.

Great central location. Friendly staff. Very laid back feel. Comfy bed. Spacious room and bathroom. Easy after hours access after a late concert. Good variety of continental breakfast items for the price. Plenty of teabags and coffee sachets in the room.

Shower was a bit fiddly to adjust. No light on after hours keypad lock. Noisy city traffic in the morning but this is to be expected due to central location and not within the establishments control.

I was meeting people for dinner in the restaurant downstairs so thought I'd stay over instead of having to deal with taxis/trains etc! Room was a good size, cosy and comfortable. Had everything I needed including bottled water, tea and coffee making facility, ensuite, wifi and haridryer! Friendly staff at check-in and nice breakfast next morning. Also, although no car park there was a 50% off deal with a nearby car park which was good and also lots of on-street parking closeby for my electric car.

There was a draught coming in one of the windows which didn't appear to shut properly. Also, the bottle/glass collection at 4am was very noisy (windows not double glazed?) Shower had lots of hot water which was almost scalding at times!

Breakfast and location were excellent.

The bathroom bin wasn't emptied from previous visitors. I don't like showering when there is black in the shower area in and out the shower. I have stayed twice in two different rooms and both were the same. I didn't shower before I left the premises on both occasions. There was also some things that had been put behind the headboard which should have been hovered. I only saw it as I had to kneel on the bed to reach for the blind to lower it.

wonderful old pub in Glasgow city centre. location perfect and staff top quality. breakfast fabulous.

room tired, could be cleaner, shower a disgrace with lots of mould around the tiles with a broken riser rail so shower wouldn’t stay up. advertised as breakfast included, but only continental included with English £10 extra, this is not acceptable

Friendly staff, clean enough room, great location.

The doors could be a little more secure, bit flimsy, and you don't feel that safe unfortunately. One push and door would be open.

The bartenders and staff were super friendly. We loved the location of the hotel and overall facilities.
