The location was great for where I was going, parking facilities where just a 2 minute walk £18 for 24hours the staff where friendly and welcoming. Room I stayed in was clean

Rooms outdated, bed’s uncomfortable bases old.can hear every noise through the hotel. Smelt musty, heater didn’t work Great. Doors banged really loud when opening and shutting

The room was clean and the heat was perfect! 15 minutes walk from all the places of interest.

Breakfast was poor and not very tasty…the quality of the sausages and the mushrooms was below average. Plus for twenty four hours there was no elevator! We were on the third floor so it was a bit disappointing

Location

Property was old. Bedrooms were dirty. Beds were falling apart. Bed sheets and pillowcases had stains from blood and probably urine. Lamps didn’t work. Disgusting

The location, staff and breakfast were all great!

The WiFi barely works (if at all) in room 111 and for some travellers like myself WiFi is very important.

Hotel was clean, close to all transport and good value for money. Breakfast was a good selection. Staff were helpful and friendly.

It needs refurbishing.

Staff was very polite. Location was nice, there was a bus stop nearby. Quiet area, we slept well.

A little bit outdated. Carpets at rooms and hallways weren’t very clean. Towels were quite small.

Bigger bathroom

the price, large bedroom and wet room bathroom. heated towel rail, that actually worked honestly bar great breakfast cooked to order

nothing really. bedroom was a bit to hot, but managed to turn the radiator off. was not possible to open the window

Really comfortable bed! In the city center!

Good value, clean place

Sadly the visitors next door were a bit loud, but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Other than this, I didn’t have any problems!

Nothing about this place I liked!

The people at reception were friendly but the hotel itself is a shambles. The room was always cold. Heating didn't work to satisfaction. The bed was awful..might as well slept on the floor... the bathroom was like a hospital ward..we had a phone call and could not answer as the latch the phone is connected too was stuck with all sorts. Just poor!!!

Historical building, walls & flooring are super unaligned, which was a bit trippy but also fun. Location is ok, not very centred but a walkable distance away from the old town and plenty of restaurants around.

The hotel was way too overpriced. Location was ok (15-20 mins walk from the castle). However, the mattress was the worst I’ve ever slept on!! It was incredibly uncomfortable, could not sleep during our entire stay. The team at reception are nice, but slightly incompetent (losing our charger/ being on the phone privately while simultaneously dealing with guests). Housekeeping were not at their best either, on the second night we were left with one single piece of (hand) towel for 2 pax.

breakfast wasn’t nice and was not a Scottish breakfast. the potato scone wasn’t cooked, mushrooms tasted off, no square sausage and all good cooked in water and oil. not nice for the stomach

at first, they doesnt have any usual stuff. hair dryer, Toothpaste, body wash, sleeper, just only 3 tower(we was two person and 4days.) and actually just 2 beds was all🥲
