The hotel is spotlessly clean, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, professional and courteous. We were even given a complimentary drink voucher on our arrival. We were also offered a meal deal for the restaurant, however we declined as we had already booked a table at the nearby Harvester. Breakfast was nice, and I know you can't please everyone, but I'm old fashioned and still enjoy black pudding, hash browns, and sloppy tomatoes; sadly all missing. Plenty of other choices available though, so no bad feelings.

We're used to sleeping in a king-sized bed, so unfortunately found the standard sized double in our room a little uncomfortable. I was expecting air-conditioning in the room too, which kind of swayed my decision to stay there in the first place as it was hot outside, however there wasn't any and the room did get a bit uncomfortably hot, especially when the wife fired-up the hair dryer! Apart from those two pretty minor, possibly irrelevant first-world issues, it's an absolutely lovely place to stay.

My third visit in 3-months - I think that says it all

Upon arriving we were greeted by a lovely staff member Grainna. She told us we were guests of the day- and gave us free parking, goodies in our room, and free drink vouchers. We stayed in the executive suite. It was spacious, clean, and bright. The only negative was the shower didn’t have much pressure and wasn’t very hot (but only with the morning shower). The kids used the pool and hot tub. I used the gym, it was great! I would stay here again.

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Elke dag verse handdoeken en bed verschoont in afspraak met het huishoudend personeel. Fitness, zwembad en restaurant en bar.

Restaurant soms wat beperkt in keuze als je er langer verblijft in het hotel. Het eten zelf is verzorgd maar weinig kruiden en dus weinig smaak. Het alternatieve Indische menu was veel smaakvoller. ontbijt was prima alleen de zoutvat verdelers waren veel te grof en je kreeg zo teveel zout op je bord. Op de badkamer waren de tissues en het doucheschuim op, maar dat was pas op de 7de dag van de 8.

The hotel has plainly been acquired "as is" by Leonardo. It's an older hotel with many holdovers from another age. So slightly well worn. But it was clean, the room had a certain retro feel and the staff were very well presented and friendly. I would stay there again.

It's not the most modern and new. Slightly worn down. But not disastrously so. Indeed if you like an 80's retro vibe, it's kinda cool. And the price is fine. The staff are nice. Why complain?
