Hotel staff was rude and almost kicked my friend out of the hotel, because the person in the group who was supposed to pay did not arrive on time due to delayed flight.

The hotel has a great location across the Forum Mall & walking distance of a few restaurants. Rooms were spacious and clean with housekeeping staff prompt in cleaning the rooms every day. The reception staff was helpful with taxi booking. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous with cereals, porridge, eggs, sausages, bread, bakery items, juices, milk and tea being there every day along with the accompaniments like butter, jams and other spreads.

The language was a major problem with most of the staff not being able to communicate in English. However, they used translator to communicate or answer the query. The restaurant service was a bit laid back.

The breakfast was good, but not fantastic. The room was good and clean, there were some supplies in the toilette. Parks and places around the hotel are nice, and you can have a good walk around, if you wish.

There were always noise (I'd assume cleaners did some work) quite early in the morning. Another issue is that the breakfast time in the morning is until 10am, which is not convenient for people travelling from Europe for leisure. As I understood, there're no alternatives available. We asked a bottle of water and an additional blanked to the room, and it was challenging to get them. Particularly, with the bottle of water, as they refused to put the cost of it on the hotel room, but requested a cash payment. It was a surprise for us.

Restaurant was always open and had good food. Staff were polite and professional. Overall I felt very in good hands.

The breakfast had, good verity and good quality.

Airport shuttle will help reduce the stress of booking a taxi on arrival and would increase the overall appeal and accessibility of the hotel.

The location was convenient and there was enough parking. Warm room was good and nice to have a bath.

Room was small without any cupboards or drawers to put away clothes. Breakfast quality was not good and was the same every day. Also expensive based on the facilities and price.

Very well located. Close to all the beautiful stuff of Almaty.

Perhaps the room was a bit dark.
