the location was perfect for a calm weekend. amazing view, calm and perfect for a retreat

the room did not have a coffee machine, which is a basic for a hotel room, it adds to the problem because there is only one cafe, beside hotel, which is open till 5pm. the next option is to go to hotel restaurant, which doesn’t always make sense. also there is not a single restaurant or shop nearby. the closest is around 15 min walk. so you would expect better facilities in hotel

Beautiful location, even if other hotels nearby offer the same or similar. Private access to the lake is great. Breakfast staff was nice - important to make this point in light of my criticisms below.

Terrible check-in experience: in the paper that you sign upon arrival my room number had been struck by hand, with another number written down in pen. I asked about it, and the staff member simply confirmed that “Your room was changed.” When I arrived at this room, it was near the noisy gym and had nowhere near the lake view I had booked. I went back to reception, where the staff started arguing with me about how hotels work and that they need to give priority to people who are staying longer (!). After a long argument they put me in a different (and to their credit, *slightly* upgraded) room… which unfortunately had ants all over the bathroom. By then I didn’t have the energy to fight again. The whole thing left a very bad impression which I could not fully recover from during our stay.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with an amazing lake and mountain view. The breakfast was very nice with lots of options and the staff is just very friendly and helpful. We asked for a fan and extra pillows that arrived within 5 minutes in our room. Plus they provided in the room apples, cake and a fridge with water, soda, juice which is refilled everyday included in the room rate. We were very satisfied at this hotel and highly recommend it.

The shower was a little tiny.
