We arrived at the hotel and the manager said that it was fully booked. We had reserved, paid, and been in direct correspondence with the hotel, however they had no recollection. I had to show them the booking receipts, the payment slip, and the correspondence. They then said that they could relocate us somewhere else (across the road), where we ended up staying. The room was dirty, the showers had a treacle of water, the mosquito nets had holes in them. The next morning, the manager did not ask us how our stay was, nor did the hotel offer us the complimentary breakfast. This was one of the worst stays I have had in Uganda, we will definitely not be returning.
