The room was really great and cozy. The staff were very helpful and approachable. and yes- my room and bathroom were very clean- private bathroom made it feel like home :)

An excellent and well situated guest house. Ample free parking available and very close to the excellent Edinburgh public transport so you can leave the car while visiting the city center. Very nice rooms.

We were on the second floor, with steep stairs and a lot of luggage... pack as light as possible! As everywhere in Europe, double beds on the smallish side. But the rooms were superb. "Mary Poppins" style.

House was not near city center like stated, parking was terrible, smelled bad/old musty when walked in, had a family member that couldn't use the stairs either ended up not staying, owner said they would only give a partial refund if they resold the room which they did and didn't even offer half of our money back, so they got paid twice. If they couldn't rebook it I would understand but refusing to refund in full when they lost nothing was ridiculous

We came late straight from the airport and they have prepared the checkin for us that worked well. We only stayed 1 night so we cant say much more. Nicely decorated, new room.

Great location, private parking with plenty of space

Room was very very warm in only 20 degree weather, would have been nice with a fan supplied in the room. Even with the window open all night (during thunder and lightning) the room just did not cool down. Affected sleep.

Very good and well-run guesthouse with helpful owner. We appreciated that some breakfast food was available even if they were not able to provide a cooked breakfast.
