Was very happy with the property. Everything was exactly how described in listing. Great location.

We decided to go to Wilmington to see a concert and go bar hopping. The house was walking distance to everything. The back patio was fully fenced in so our dog could hang out safely. The road it is on is a quiet side street surrounded by plenty of shaded sidewalks and beautiful old houses. The house is well stocked, including kitchen items. Bedrooms are comfy and cozy. Cant wait to visit again.

We loved our stay at this historic home and highly recommend it! We were in town for a college tour for our daughter and we also took in some sightseeing and great restaurants. The location was perfect. Thank you!

Had plenty of places to sleep and a nice big kitchen.

We had a great visit. The location was perfect. We walked into town and enjoyed a breeze on the porch! Just a great vacation.

This home was so large, comfortable, fun and inviting. Everyone staying in and around Wilmington enjoyed stopping by to hang out with family members. Absolutely everything we needed was provided, making the home feel more like visiting at Grandma's house than renting! We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, visiting some of the historic churches and easy access for a wide variety of food and shopping. It was perfect proximity to the wedding venue at the Atrium. Everyone loved the trip, largely due to the quality family time we had at this house. Thank you Brian!

This is 3rd time we have stayed in this beautiful old home which is located on a brick street in the Historic district of Wilmington. We enjoyed relaxing on front porch with my morning coffee or while reading a book. The house is a treasure of days gone by.
It is within a short walk of the Cape Fear River and all the restaurants and shops in downtown. We walked to dinner every night and there are so many choices in the area. Also if you happen to fly in you could Uber to house and never need a car. We will be back again next year.

We had the best time over Father’s Day weekend. This house is so charming with plenty of space and the best location. It was so easy to walk to downtown to enjoy the breweries and the Riverwalk.
Brian, the host, is super responsive and the house was well stocked with everything from towels to dishes and cook wear. Thanks for a wonderful vacation spot.

Great location, very old home with history. Plenty of space. The owner checked in with us to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. If you like to walk and explore this home is right in downtown. We would stay here again if we come back to this area.

The property made the weekend. Great communication with the host, house was stocked with all essentials. The patio, porch, and parking was a great benefit to the property. Walking distance to all you would need for a vacation. Very pleased with all the accommodations and would strongly recommend this house to everyone.

Fantastic historic home to experience! The owner was great with communication and was very gracious! Location was very convenient to walking near waterfront or exploring the neighborhood of other beautiful homes. Cannot think of a better place for the value.

Four guys on a golfing trip from the uk. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom. Absolutely ideal for our trip. Easy walking distance to the old town bars and restaurants. Good parking facility around the back plus on road was available sometimes. Would definitely stay again. Host Brian was available via messaging, he quickly fixed a minor problem that we had with a wc. Excellent service.

This was our second stay at this property. We stay because it’s a cool old house with 4 bedrooms that allows dogs bigger than your hand. There are only two of us, but we paid more for a tiny one bedroom farther away from town than this one. We walk to the riverfront every day. The elegant old houses are beautiful and it’s a really nice and pretty short walk. The courtyard is great for the dog, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’d need and the tv even has all the paid channels. They also don’t expect you to jump through hoops cleaning everything in the house even though you are paying a cleaning fee. There is a reason for the high rating on this property!

We stayed here for my son's wedding which was being held near the waterfront of downtown Wilmington. The home was nice and comfortable with plenty of room inside. We chose to stay here due to it being within walking distance of the rehearsal, wedding venue and restaurants downtown. Brian was a great host and responded to all questions or concerns timely and fixed issues if needed. The driveway to the parking area behind the house is a little tight if you drive a full size vehicle (Chevy Silverado z71, GMC Yucon XL Denali) but they will fit through there. There is also parking on the street in front of house. Overall this was a great place to stay and be able to walk to about anywhere downtown you like. Thanks to Brian for being a great host and we would definitely stay here again if we are back in the Wilmington area!

We loved our stay in Wilmington! We had a great experience for our girls trip. We loved that everyone had their own space and their own bathrooms! The home was bigger than we had anticipated which was wonderful. We loved the historical feel of the old home, and we were impressed with the amenities and cleanliness of such an old home. The location was excellent, we walked everywhere we wanted to go. I would recommend this rental, and would stay again.

What a wonderful place to stay for our family while going to a wedding at Baker 105! The outdoor area was a perfect place to sit and enjoy after the wedding. The weather was perfect, the fire pit was beautiful and the lighting made it all magical!

This was a wonderful experience for us and my son, his wife and their 2 & 4 year olds. We were in town for a wedding, which was hosted at the atrium on 2nd Street We were close to everything we needed and had the opportunity to walk around and enjoy the architecture of Wilmington. I can’t say enough about the spaciousness of this house, and the ability for it to sleep eight between the four rooms. The communication with the owner was more than could be expected. He was able to let us check in early and check out later. We used the laundry and had everything we needed. The house is 4 blocks from Front street and the river that has a walking path to enjoy the sites. Don’t forget to take a tour of the North Carolina Battleship. The horse drawn trolly comes right past the home. Do not hesitate to book this for a Wilmington vacation or event.

We had an absolutely fantastic time, and the house's location is ideal for easy access to downtown Wilmington. Brian, our host, was exceptional. The house itself is charming, and the fact that every guest had their own bathroom made it perfect, especially when getting ready for a wedding. I would undoubtedly rate our stay as a 5-star experience.

Perfect house, perfect location, perfect host! We had a wonderful time in this house. The host has thought of just about everything. The only items missing were espresso cups. :-) And we only knew that because the kitchen had every single appliance anyone could need or want including an espresso maker. The rear patio was ideal, and we spent a lot of time out there. The location was also ideal. The house is in the Historic District and the surrounding homes are beautiful. Many great restaurants and the Cape Fear River were within easy walking distance. We would definitely like to return.

We were there for a wedding at the Bakery 105 and although some of our crowd took Uber it was a easy walk. We did a lot of walking downtown each day

great place to stay, walking distance to town, and historic neighborhoods will be back again

great stay but driveway is narrow as advertised, just pull in your mirrors. Old historic home with updated baths. Great neighborhood.

Great location! I rented this for our adult family who was flying and driving in for my youngest son's wedding. Having a bathroom for every bedroom was awesome, and we discovered an additional bedroom off the kitchen that's not even advertised in the listing. My mom broke her toe a couple days before the trip so discovering this bedroom on the first floor was fantastic where she didn't need to climb stairs!
It was a 5-10 minute walk to all the food, bars, and entertainment.
The wedding was held at Station No. 2, which was a 3 min. drive.
Enough room for everyone to spread out, a kitchen equipped with just about everthing you could possibly need (with newer appliances), and the courtyard was so relaxing.
Can't say enough good things! Thank you, Brian, for the seemless communication.

All that really needs to be said is that we have been so pleased with this location, we have stayed in this location for several years in a row. When we book our yearly vacation to Wilmington, we look for this property first. We then book our dates, we make our dates work around when this house is open.
It is very spacious, family friendly, easy walk to downtown, in a wonderful neighborhood. Host is responsive and very helpful.
Highly recommend this, especially for families!

Came down to see the fireworks with friends. Stayed here last December and loved the place and didn’t disappoint this time either. Great place for 4 couples and Brian is by far the best to work with.
Plan on being back in December and can’t wait!
